Nehemiah 2:8
ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಆಲಯದ ಸಂಬಂಧವಾದ ಅರಮನೆಯ ಬಾಗಲಿಗೋಸ್ಕರವೂ ಪಟ್ಟಣದ ಗೋಡೆಗೋಸ್ಕರವೂ ನಾನು ಪ್ರವೇಶಿಸುವ ಮನೆಗೋಸ್ಕರವೂ ತೊಲೆಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡಲು ಮರ ಗಳನ್ನು ಕೊಡುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಅರಸನವನಾಧಿಪತಿಯಾದ ಆಸಾಫನಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ನನಗೆ ಪತ್ರ ಕೊಡಲ್ಪಡಲಿ ಅಂದೆನು. ಆಗ ದೇವರ ಒಳ್ಳೇ ಕೈ ನನ್ನ ಮೇಲೆ ಇರುವ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಅರಸನು ನನಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟನು.

ಈ ಎಜ್ರನು ಇಸ್ರಾ ಯೇಲ್ ದೇವರಾಗಿರುವ ಕರ್ತನು ಕೊಟ್ಟ ಮೋಶೆಯ ನ್ಯಾಯಪ್ರಮಾಣದಲ್ಲಿ ನುರಿತ ಶಾಸ್ತ್ರಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದನು. ಇವನ ಮೇಲೆ ಅವನ ದೇವರಾಗಿರುವ ಕರ್ತನ ಕೈ ಇದ್ದ ಪ್ರಕಾರವೇ ಅರಸನು ಇವನಿಗೆ ಕೇಳಿದ್ದನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಕೊಟ್ಟನು.

ಆಗ ದೇವರು ದಾನಿಯೇಲನನ್ನು ಕಂಚುಕಿಯರ ಯಜಮಾನನ ದಯೆಯಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಕರುಣೆ ಯಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಸೇರಿಸಿದನು.

ಆದರೆ ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯವು ದಾರ್ಯಾವೆಷನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬರುವ ವರೆಗೂ ಅವರು ಇವರನ್ನು ನಿಲ್ಲಿಸದ ಹಾಗೆ ಇವರ ದೇವರ ಕಣ್ಣು ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯರ ಹಿರಿಯರ ಮೇಲೆ ಇತ್ತು. ಆಗ ಇದನ್ನು ಕುರಿತು ಅವರು ಪ್ರತ್ಯುತ್ತರವನ್ನು ಪತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದರು.

ಆದರೆ ನಿಮ್ಮ ವಿಷಯವಾಗಿ ಅದೇ ಹಿತಚಿಂತನೆ ಯನ್ನು ದೇವರು ತೀತನ ಹೃದಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಹುಟ್ಟಿಸಿದ್ದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಸ್ತೋತ್ರವಾಗಲಿ.

ಅವನಿಗೆ ಬಂದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಸಂಕಟಗಳಿಂದ ಅವನನ್ನು ಬಿಡಿಸಿ ಐಗುಪ್ತ ದೇಶದ ಅರಸನಾದ ಫರೋಹನ ಸಮ್ಮುಖದಲ್ಲಿ ದಯಾ ಪಾತ್ರನೂ ಜ್ಞಾನವುಳ್ಳವನೂ ಆಗಿರುವಂತೆ ಅನುಗ್ರಹಿ ಸಿದನು. ಫರೋಹನು ಅವನನ್ನು ಐಗುಪ್ತ ದೇಶದ ಮೇಲೆಯೂ ತನ್ನ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಮನೆಯ ಮೇಲೆಯೂ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಯನ್ನಾಗಿ ನೇಮಿಸಿದನು.
ಙ್ಞಾನೋಕ್ತಿಗಳು 21:1
ನೀರಿನ ನದಿಗಳಂತೆ ಅರಸನ ಹೃದಯವು ಕರ್ತನ ಕೈಯಲ್ಲಿದೆ; ತನಗೆ ಇಷ್ಟವಾದ ಕಡೆಗೆ ಆತನು ಅದನ್ನು ತಿರುಗಿಸುತ್ತಾನೆ.
ನೆಹೆಮಿಯ 3:1
ಆಗ ಪ್ರಧಾನ ಯಾಜಕನಾದ ಎಲ್ಯಾಷೀಬನೂ ಅವನ ಸಹೋದರರಾದ ಯಾಜಕರೂ ಎದ್ದು ಕುರಿ ಬಾಗಲನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಿದರು. ಇವರು ಅದನ್ನು ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧ ಮಾಡಿ ಅದರ ಬಾಗಲುಗಳನ್ನು ನಿಲ್ಲಿಸಿದರು. ಹಮ್ಮೆಯದ ಗೋಪುರದ ಮಟ್ಟಿಗೂ ಹನನೇಲನ ಗೋಪುರದ ವರೆಗೂ ಅದನ್ನು ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧ ಮಾಡಿದರು.
ನೆಹೆಮಿಯ 2:17
ಆಗ ನಾನು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದೆನು--ನಮಗೆ ಇರುವ ಕೇಡನ್ನು ನೀವು ನೋಡುತ್ತೀರಿ. ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮು ಹಾಳಾಗಿ ಅದರ ಬಾಗಲುಗಳು ಬೆಂಕಿಯಿಂದ ಸುಡಲ್ಪಟ್ಟವಲ್ಲಾ ನಾವು ಇನ್ನು ಮೇಲೆ ನಿಂದೆಗೊಳಗಾಗಿರದ ಹಾಗೆ ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನ ಗೋಡೆಯನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟುವ ಬನ್ನಿರಿ.

ಆಗ ಎಜ್ರನು -- ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಕರ್ತನ ಆಲಯವನ್ನು ಅಲಂಕರಿಸುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಅರ ಸನ ಹೃದಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಇಂಥಾದ್ದನ್ನು ಇಟ್ಟು ಅರಸನ ಮುಂದೆಯೂ ಅವನ ಸಲಹೆಗಾರರ ಮುಂದೆಯೂ ಅರಸನ ಪರಾಕ್ರಮವುಳ್ಳ ಪ್ರಧಾನರ ಮುಂದೆಯೂ ನನಗೆ ಕೃಪೆ ಮಾಡಿದ ನಮ್ಮ ತಂದೆಗಳ ದೇವರಾಗಿ ರುವ ಕರ್ತನು ಸ್ತುತಿಸಲ್ಪಡಲಿ.

ಇವನು ಮೊದಲನೇ ತಿಂಗಳಿನ ಮೊದಲನೇ ದಿವಸದಲ್ಲಿ ಬಾಬೆಲಿನಿಂದ ಹೋಗುವು ದಕ್ಕೆ ಯತ್ನಿಸಿ ತನ್ನ ದೇವರ ಒಳ್ಳೇ ಕೈ ಅವನ ಮೇಲೆ ಇದ್ದದ್ದರಿಂದ ಅವನ ಐದನೇ ತಿಂಗಳಿನ ಮೊದಲನೇ ದಿವಸದಲ್ಲಿ ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಬಂದು ಸೇರಿದನು.

ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ ದೇವ ರಾಗಿರುವ ದೇವರ ಆಲಯದ ಕಾರ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರ ಕೈಗಳನ್ನು ಬಲಪಡಿಸುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಅಶ್ಶೂರ್ ದೇಶದ ಅರ ಸನ ಹೃದಯವನ್ನು ಅವರ ಕಡೆಗೆ ತಿರುಗಿಸಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ಕರ್ತನು ಅವರನ್ನು ಸಂತೋಷಪಡಿಸಿದನು.

ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಆತನುನಿನ್ನ ಹೆಸರು ಇನ್ನು ಮೇಲೆ ಯಾಕೋಬನೆಂದು ಕರೆಯಲ್ಪಡದೆ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ ಎಂದು ಕರೆಯಲ್ಪಡು ವದು. ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ನೀನು ದೇವರ ಸಂಗಡಲೂ ಮನುಷ್ಯರ ಸಂಗಡಲೂ ಹೋರಾಡಿ ಜಯಿಸಿದ್ದೀ ಅಂದನು.
