Nehemiah 2:3
ಆಗ ನಾನು ಬಹು ಭಯಪಟ್ಟು ಅರಸನಿಗೆ--ಅರಸನು ಎಂದೆಂದಿಗೂ ಬಾಳಲಿ. ನನ್ನ ತಂದೆಗಳ ಸಮಾಧಿ ಗಳಿರುವ ಸ್ಥಳವಾದ ಆ ಪಟ್ಟಣವು ಹಾಳಾಗಿದ್ದು ಅದರ ಬಾಗಲುಗಳು ಬೆಂಕಿಯಿಂದ ಸುಡಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿರುವಾಗ ನನ್ನ ಮುಖವು ದುಃಖವಿಲ್ಲದೆ ಇರುವದು ಹೇಗೆ ಅಂದೆನು.

ಆಗ ಕಸ್ದೀಯರು ಅರಸನಿಗೆ ಅರಮಾಯ ಭಾಷೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹೇಳಿ ದ್ದೇನಂದರೆ--ಓ ಅರಸನೇ, ನಿರಂತರವಾಗಿ ಬಾಳು, ಕನಸನ್ನು ನಿನ್ನ ಸೇವಕರಿಗೆ ಹೇಳು; ಆಗ ನಾವು ಅದರ ಅರ್ಥಗಳನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಸುವೆವು ಅಂದರು.

ಆಗ ಬತ್ಷೆಬೆಳು ಮುಖವನ್ನು ನೆಲಕ್ಕೆ ಬೊಗ್ಗಿಸಿ ಅರಸನನ್ನು ವಂದಿಸಿ--ನನ್ನ ಒಡೆ ಯನೂ ಅರಸನೂ ಆದ ದಾವೀದನು ಎಂದೆಂದಿಗೂ ಬಾಳಲಿ ಅಂದಳು.

ಆಗ ಅರಸನ ಮತ್ತು ಅವನ ಪ್ರಭುಗಳ ಮಾತುಗಳಿಗಾಗಿ ರಾಣಿಯು ಔತಣದ ಮನೆಗೆ ಬಂದು ಮಾತನಾಡಿ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೇನಂದರೆ--ಓ ಅರಸನೇ, ನಿರಂತರವಾಗಿ ಬಾಳು. ನಿನ್ನ ಆಲೋ ಚನೆಗಳು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಕಳವಳಪಡಿಸದಿರಲಿ; ನಿನ್ನ ಮುಖವು ಕಳೆಗುಂದದಿರಲಿ;

ಆಗ ದಾನಿಯೇಲನು ಅರಸನಿಗೆ--ಓ ಅರಸನೇ, ನೀನು ನಿರಂತರವಾಗಿ ಬಾಳು.

ಆಗ ಪ್ರಧಾನರೂ ದೇಶಾಧಿಪತಿಯೂ ಅರಸನ ಬಳಿ ಕೂಡಿಬಂದು ಹೀಗೆಂದರು--ಅರಸನಾದ ದಾರ್ಯಾವೆಷನೇ, ನಿರಂತರವಾಗಿ ಬಾಳು.

ಹಿಜ್ಕೀಯನು ತನ್ನ ಪಿತೃಗಳ ಸಂಗಡ ನಿದ್ರಿಸಿದನು; ಅವರು ದಾವೀದನ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಸಮಾಧಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠವಾದದರಲ್ಲಿ ಅವ ನನ್ನು ಹೂಣಿಟ್ಟರು. ಅವನ ಮರಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಮಸ್ತ ಯೆಹೂದದವರೂ ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನ ನಿವಾಸಿಗಳೂ ಅವನನ್ನು ಘನಪಡಿಸಿದರು. ಅವನ ಮಗನಾದ ಮನ ಸ್ಸೆಯು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಬದಲಾಗಿ ಆಳಿದನು.

ಅವನು ಆಳಲಾರಂಭಿಸಿದಾಗ ಮೂವತ್ತೆರಡು ವರುಷದವನಾಗಿದ್ದು ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಎಂಟು ವರುಷ ಆಳಿ ಯಾರಿಗೂ ಇಷ್ಪವಿಲ್ಲದವನಾಗಿ ಹೋದನು. ಆದರೂ ಅವರು ಅವನನ್ನು ದಾವೀದನ ಪಟ್ಟಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಹೂಣಿಟ್ಟರು; ಆದರೆ ಅರಸುಗಳ ಸಮಾಧಿ ಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಅಲ್ಲ.

ಮಾತ ನಾಡಿ ಅರಸನಾದ ನೆಬೂಕದ್ನೆಚ್ಚರನಿಗೆ--ಓ ಅರಸನೇ, ನೀನು ನಿರಂತರವಾಗಿ ಬಾಳು.
