ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯದ ತರುವಾಯ ಯಾರೊಬ್ಬಾಮನು ತನ್ನ ಕೆಟ್ಟ ಮಾರ್ಗವನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ತಿರುಗದೆ ಉನ್ನತ ಸ್ಥಳಗಳಿಗೆ ಕನಿಷ್ಠ ಯಾಜಕರನ್ನಾಗಿ ನೇಮಿಸಿದನು. ಯಾವನಿಗೆ ಮನಸ್ಸಿತ್ತೋ ಅವನನ್ನು ಇವನು ಪ್ರತಿಷ್ಠೆ ಮಾಡಿಸಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ಉನ್ನತ ಸ್ಥಳಗಳ ಯಾಜಕರಲ್ಲಿ ಒಬ್ಬ ನಾಗುವನು.
