ಮೋಶೆಯು ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಅವರ ಕೈಗಳಿಂದ ತೆಗೆದು ದಹನಬಲಿ ಯಜ್ಞವೇದಿಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಸುಟ್ಟನು; ಅವು ಕರ್ತನಿಗೆ ಬೆಂಕಿಯಿಂದ ಸಮರ್ಪಿಸಿದ ಸುವಾಸನೆಗಾಗಿ ಪ್ರತಿಷ್ಠಿತವಾಗಿದ್ದವು.
