Genesis 42:6
ಆಗ ಯೋಸೇಫನು ದೇಶದ ಮೇಲೆಲ್ಲಾ ಅಧಿಪತಿಯಾ ಗಿದ್ದನು. ದೇಶದ ಜನರಿಗೆಲ್ಲಾ ಧಾನ್ಯವನ್ನು ಮಾರು ವವನು ಅವನೇ ಆಗಿದ್ದನು. ಹೀಗಿರಲಾಗಿ ಯೋಸೇಫನ ಸಹೋದರರು ಬಂದು ತಮ್ಮ ಮುಖಗಳನ್ನು ನೆಲದ ಮಟ್ಟಿಗೂ ತಗ್ಗಿಸಿ ಅವನಿಗೆ ಅಡ್ಡಬಿದ್ದರು.

ಅವನಿಗೆ ಬಂದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಸಂಕಟಗಳಿಂದ ಅವನನ್ನು ಬಿಡಿಸಿ ಐಗುಪ್ತ ದೇಶದ ಅರಸನಾದ ಫರೋಹನ ಸಮ್ಮುಖದಲ್ಲಿ ದಯಾ ಪಾತ್ರನೂ ಜ್ಞಾನವುಳ್ಳವನೂ ಆಗಿರುವಂತೆ ಅನುಗ್ರಹಿ ಸಿದನು. ಫರೋಹನು ಅವನನ್ನು ಐಗುಪ್ತ ದೇಶದ ಮೇಲೆಯೂ ತನ್ನ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಮನೆಯ ಮೇಲೆಯೂ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಯನ್ನಾಗಿ ನೇಮಿಸಿದನು.
