Psalm 142

1 ನನ್ನ ಸ್ವರವೆತ್ತಿ ಕರ್ತನಿಗೆ ಮೊರೆಯಿಟ್ಟಿದ್ದೇನೆ ಸ್ವರವೆತ್ತಿ ನನ್ನ ಕರ್ತನಿಗೆ ವಿಜ್ಞಾಪನೆ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದೇನೆ.

2 ಆತನ ಮುಂದೆ ನನ್ನ ಚಿಂತೆಯನ್ನು ಹೊಯ್ದಿದ್ದೇನೆ; ನನ್ನ ಇಕ್ಕಟ್ಟನ್ನು ಆತನ ಮುಂದೆ ತಿಳಿಸಿದ್ದೇನೆ.

3 ನನ್ನ ಆತ್ಮವು ನನ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ಕುಂದಿ ಹೋದಾಗ ನೀನು ನನ್ನ ದಾರಿಯನ್ನು ತಿಳುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದೀ; ನಾನು ನಡೆಯುವ ದಾರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಗುಪ್ತವಾಗಿ ನನಗೆ ಉರ್ಲನ್ನು ಒಡ್ಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

4 ನನ್ನ ಬಲಗಡೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನೋಡಿದೆನು; ನೋಡಿದಾಗ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಯುವವನು ಯಾವನೂ ಇಲ್ಲ. ಆಶ್ರಯವು ನನ್ನ ಬಳಿಯಿಂದ ತಪ್ಪಿಹೋಯಿತು; ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾಣಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಚಿಂತಿಸುವವನು ಒಬ್ಬನೂ ಇಲ್ಲ.

5 ಓ ಕರ್ತನೇ, ನಿನಗೆ ಮೊರೆಯಿಡುತ್ತೇನೆ, ನಾನು ಹೇಳುವದೇನಂದರೆ -- ನೀನು ನನ್ನ ಆಶ್ರಯವೂ ಜೀವಿತರ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ನನ್ನ ಪಾಲೂ ಆಗಿದ್ದೀ ಎಂಬದೇ.

6 ನನ್ನ ಕೂಗನ್ನು ಆಲೈಸು; ನಾನು ಬಹಳ ಕುಂದಿ ಹೋಗಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಹಿಂಸಿಸುವವರಿಂದ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಬಿಡಿಸು; ಅವರು ನನಗಿಂತ ಬಲವುಳ್ಳವರಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

7 ನಿನ್ನ ಹೆಸರನ್ನು ಕೊಂಡಾಡುವ ಹಾಗೆ ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾಣ ವನ್ನು ಸೆರೆಯಿಂದ ಹೊರಗೆ ಬರಮಾಡು; ನೀತಿವಂತರು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಮುತ್ತಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವರು; ನನಗೆ ನೀನು ಉಪಕಾರ ಮಾಡುವಿ.

2 I cried unto the Lord with my voice; with my voice unto the Lord did I make my supplication.

3 I poured out my complaint before him; I shewed before him my trouble.

4 When my spirit was overwhelmed within me, then thou knewest my path. In the way wherein I walked have they privily laid a snare for me.

5 I looked on my right hand, and beheld, but there was no man that would know me: refuge failed me; no man cared for my soul.

6 I cried unto thee, O Lord: I said, Thou art my refuge and my portion in the land of the living.

7 Attend unto my cry; for I am brought very low: deliver me from my persecutors; for they are stronger than I.

8 Bring my soul out of prison, that I may praise thy name: the righteous shall compass me about; for thou shalt deal bountifully with me.
