Proverbs 11 in Kannada

1 ಮೋಸದ ತಕ್ಕಡಿ ಕರ್ತನಿಗೆ ಅಸಹ್ಯವಾಗಿದೆ; ನ್ಯಾಯದ ತೂಕ ಆತನ ಆನಂದವು.

2 ಗರ್ವ ಬಂದಾಗ ನಾಚಿಕೆಯೂ ಬರುತ್ತದೆ; ದೀನರಲ್ಲಿ ಜ್ಞಾನವಿದೆ.

3 ಯಥಾರ್ಥವಂತರ ಪ್ರಾಮಾಣಿಕತೆ ಅವರನ್ನು ನಡಿಸುವದು; ಅಪರಾಧದ ಮೂರ್ಖತನವು ಅವರನ್ನು ನಾಶಪಡಿಸುವದು.

4 ಉಗ್ರತೆಯ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ಐಶ್ವರ್ಯವು ಲಾಭಕರವಾಗುವದಿಲ್ಲ; ನೀತಿಯು ಮರಣ ದಿಂದ ಬಿಡಿಸುತ್ತದೆ.

5 ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣನ ನೀತಿಯು ಅವನ ಮಾರ್ಗವನ್ನು ಸರಾಗಮಾಡುವದು; ದುಷ್ಟನು ತನ್ನ ದುಷ್ಟತ್ವದಿಂದಲೇ ಬೀಳುವನು.

6 ಯಥಾರ್ಥವಂತರ ನೀತಿಯು ಅವರನ್ನು ಬಿಡಿಸುವದು; ತಮ್ಮ ಸ್ವಂತ ತುಂಟ ತನದಲ್ಲಿ ದೋಷಿಗಳು ಸಿಕ್ಕಿಬೀಳುವರು.

7 ದುಷ್ಟನು ಸಾಯುವಾಗ ಅವನ ನಿರೀಕ್ಷೆಗಳು ಹಾಳಾಗುವವು; ಅನೀತಿವಂತನ ನಿರೀಕ್ಷೆಯು ನಾಶವಾಗುವದು.

8 ನೀತಿವಂತನು ಇಕ್ಕಟ್ಟಿನಿಂದ ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಾನೆ; ಅವನ ಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲಿ ದುಷ್ಟನು ಬರುತ್ತಾನೆ.

9 ಒಬ್ಬ ಕಪಟಿಯು ಬಾಯಿಂದ ತನ್ನ ನೆರೆಯವನನ್ನು ಹಾಳುಮಾಡುತ್ತಾನೆ; ತಿಳುವಳಿಕೆಯ ಮೂಲಕ ನೀತಿವಂತನು ಬಿಡಿಸಲ್ಪ ಡುವನು.

10 ನೀತಿವಂತರು ಚೆನ್ನಾಗಿದ್ದರೆ ಪಟ್ಟಣವು ಉಲ್ಲಾಸಿಸುತ್ತದೆ; ದುಷ್ಟರು ನಾಶವಾದರೆ ಆರ್ಭಟವಿರು ತ್ತದೆ.

11 ಯಥಾರ್ಥವಂತರ ಆಶೀರ್ವಾದದಿಂದ ಪಟ್ಟ ಣವು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸಲ್ಪಡುತ್ತದೆ. ದುಷ್ಟರ ಬಾಯಿಂದ ಅದು ಕೆಡವಲ್ಪಡುತ್ತದೆ.

12 ಜ್ಞಾನವಿಲ್ಲದವನು ತನ್ನ ನೆರೆಯ ವನನ್ನು ಹೀನೈಸುತ್ತಾನೆ; ವಿವೇಕಿಯು ಮೌನವಾಗಿರು ತ್ತಾನೆ.

13 ಚಾಡಿಕೋರನು ರಹಸ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಬಹಿರಂಗ ಪಡಿಸುತ್ತಾನೆ. ನಂಬಿಕೆಯ ಆತ್ಮವುಳ್ಳವನು ಸಂಗತಿಯನ್ನು ಮುಚ್ಚುತ್ತಾನೆ.

14 ಆಲೋಚನೆ ಇಲ್ಲದಿರುವಲ್ಲಿ ಜನರು ಬೀಳುತ್ತಾರೆ; ಸಲಹೆಗಾರರ ಸಮೂಹದಲ್ಲಿ ಭದ್ರತೆ ಇದೆ.

15 ಅನ್ಯನಿಗೆ ಹೊಣೆಯಾಗುವವನು ಹಾನಿಗೆ ಗುರಿಯಾಗುತ್ತಾನೆ; ಹೊಣೆಗಾರತ್ವವನ್ನು ಹಗೆಮಾಡಿ ಕೊಳ್ಳುವವನು ಭದ್ರವಾಗಿರುವನು.

16 ಕೃಪೆಯುಳ್ಳ ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯು ತನ್ನ ಗೌರವವನ್ನು ಕಾಪಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಾಳೆ. ಬಲಿಷ್ಠರು ಐಶ್ವರ್ಯವನ್ನು ಕಾಪಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಾರೆ.

17 ಕರುಣೆಯುಳ್ಳವನು ತನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾಣಕ್ಕೆ ಒಳ್ಳೇದನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಾನೆ; ಕಠೋರಿಯು ತನ್ನ ಶರೀರವನ್ನು ಬಾಧಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಾನೆ.

18 ದುಷ್ಟನು ಮೋಸದ ಕೃತ್ಯವನ್ನು ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾನೆ; ನೀತಿಯನ್ನು ಬಿತ್ತುವವನಿಗೆ ನಿಸ್ಸಂದೇಹ ವಾಗಿ ಬಹುಮಾನವಿರುವದು.

19 ನೀತಿಯು ಜೀವಕ್ಕೆ ಒಲಿಯುತ್ತದೆ; ಕೆಟ್ಟದ್ದನ್ನು ಹಿಂದಟ್ಟುವವನು ತನ್ನ ಮರ ಣಕ್ಕೆ ಹಿಂದಟ್ಟುತ್ತಾನೆ.

20 ಮೂರ್ಖ ಹೃದಯವುಳ್ಳವರು ಕರ್ತನಿಗೆ ಅಸಹ್ಯವಾದವರು; ತಮ್ಮ ಮಾರ್ಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಯಥಾರ್ಥವಾಗಿ ಇರುವವರು ಆತನ ಆನಂದವಾಗಿ ದ್ದಾರೆ.

21 ಕೈಗೆ ಕೈ ಕೊಟ್ಟರೂ ದುಷ್ಟನು ಶಿಕ್ಷಿಸಲ್ಪಡದೆ ಇರುವದಿಲ್ಲ; ನೀತಿವಂತರ ವಂಶವು ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವದು.

22 ಹಂದಿಯ ಮೂಗಿನಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಬಂಗಾರದ ಒಡವೆಯು ಹೇಗೋ ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ವಿವೇಕವಿಲ್ಲದ ಸುಂದರವಾದ ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯು ಇರುವಳು.

23 ನೀತಿವಂತರು ಒಳ್ಳೇಯದನ್ನು ಮಾತ್ರ ಅಪೇಕ್ಷಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ; ದುಷ್ಟರ ಅಪೇಕ್ಷೆಯು ಕೋಪ ವಾಗಿದೆ.

24 ಚದುರಿಸಿದಾಗ್ಯೂ ವೃದ್ಧಿಯಾಗುತ್ತದೆ; ಬೇಕಾದದ್ದಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನದನ್ನು ಬಿಗಿಹಿಡಿಯುವಂಥದ್ದು ಬಡತನಕ್ಕೆ ನಡಿಸುತ್ತದೆ.

25 ಉದಾರಿಯು ಪುಷ್ಠನಾಗು ವನು; ನೀರು ಹಾಯಿಸುವವನಿಗೆ ನೀರು ದೊರೆಯು ವದು.

26 ಧಾನ್ಯವನ್ನು ಬಿಗಿಹಿಡಿಯುವವನನ್ನು ಜನರು ಶಪಿಸುವರು; ಅದನ್ನು ಮಾರುವವನ ತಲೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಆಶೀರ್ವಾದವು ನೆಲೆಯಾಗಿರುವದು.

27 ಒಳ್ಳೇದನ್ನು ಸೂಕ್ಷ್ಮವಾಗಿ ಹುಡುಕುವವನು ದಯೆಯನ್ನು ಹೊಂದು ತ್ತಾನೆ; ಆದರೆ ಕೇಡನ್ನು ಹುಡುಕುವವನಿಗೆ ಕೇಡೇ ಆಗುವದು.

28 ತನ್ನ ಐಶ್ವರ್ಯವನ್ನು ನಂಬಿದವನು ಬಿದ್ದುಹೋಗುವನು; ನೀತಿವಂತರು ಕೊಂಬೆಯ ಹಾಗೆ ಚಿಗುರುವರು.

29 ತನ್ನ ಮನೆಯವರನ್ನು ಬಾಧಿಸುವವನು ಗಾಳಿಯನ್ನು ಬಾಧ್ಯವಾಗಿ ಹೊಂದುವನು; ಜ್ಞಾನವುಳ್ಳ ಹೃದಯದವನಿಗೆ ಅವಿವೇಕಿಯು ಸೇವಕನಾಗಿರುವನು.

30 ನೀತಿವಂತರ ಫಲವು ಜೀವವೃಕ್ಷ; ಆತ್ಮಗಳನ್ನು ಗೆಲ್ಲು ವವನು ಜ್ಞಾನಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ.

31 ಇಗೋ, ಭೂಮಿಯ ಮೇಲೆ ನೀತಿವಂತರು ಪ್ರತಿಫಲವನ್ನು ಹೊಂದುವರು; ದುಷ್ಟನೂ ಪಾಪಿಯೂ ಎಷ್ಟೋ ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗಿ ಪ್ರತಿಫಲ ವನ್ನು ಹೊಂದುತ್ತಾರೆ.

1 A false balance is abomination to the Lord: but a just weight is his delight.

2 When pride cometh, then cometh shame: but with the lowly is wisdom.

3 The integrity of the upright shall guide them: but the perverseness of transgressors shall destroy them.

4 Riches profit not in the day of wrath: but righteousness delivereth from death.

5 The righteousness of the perfect shall direct his way: but the wicked shall fall by his own wickedness.

6 The righteousness of the upright shall deliver them: but transgressors shall be taken in their own naughtiness.

7 When a wicked man dieth, his expectation shall perish: and the hope of unjust men perisheth.

8 The righteous is delivered out of trouble, and the wicked cometh in his stead.

9 An hypocrite with his mouth destroyeth his neighbour: but through knowledge shall the just be delivered.

10 When it goeth well with the righteous, the city rejoiceth: and when the wicked perish, there is shouting.

11 By the blessing of the upright the city is exalted: but it is overthrown by the mouth of the wicked.

12 He that is void of wisdom despiseth his neighbour: but a man of understanding holdeth his peace.

13 A talebearer revealeth secrets: but he that is of a faithful spirit concealeth the matter.

14 Where no counsel is, the people fall: but in the multitude of counsellers there is safety.

15 He that is surety for a stranger shall smart for it: and he that hateth suretiship is sure.

16 A gracious woman retaineth honour: and strong men retain riches.

17 The merciful man doeth good to his own soul: but he that is cruel troubleth his own flesh.

18 The wicked worketh a deceitful work: but to him that soweth righteousness shall be a sure reward.

19 As righteousness tendeth to life: so he that pursueth evil pursueth it to his own death.

20 They that are of a froward heart are abomination to the Lord: but such as are upright in their way are his delight.

21 Though hand join in hand, the wicked shall not be unpunished: but the seed of the righteous shall be delivered.

22 As a jewel of gold in a swine’s snout, so is a fair woman which is without discretion.

23 The desire of the righteous is only good: but the expectation of the wicked is wrath.

24 There is that scattereth, and yet increaseth; and there is that withholdeth more than is meet, but it tendeth to poverty.

25 The liberal soul shall be made fat: and he that watereth shall be watered also himself.

26 He that withholdeth corn, the people shall curse him: but blessing shall be upon the head of him that selleth it.

27 He that diligently seeketh good procureth favour: but he that seeketh mischief, it shall come unto him.

28 He that trusteth in his riches shall fall: but the righteous shall flourish as a branch.

29 He that troubleth his own house shall inherit the wind: and the fool shall be servant to the wise of heart.

30 The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life; and he that winneth souls is wise.

31 Behold, the righteous shall be recompensed in the earth: much more the wicked and the sinner.
