ತನ್ನ ನಾಜೀರತನ ದಿವಸಗಳಲ್ಲೆಲ್ಲಾ ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷೇ ಬೀಜ ಮೊದಲುಗೊಂಡು ಸಿಪ್ಪೆಯ ವರೆಗೂ ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷೇ ಬಳ್ಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬೆಳೆದದ್ದು ಯಾವದನ್ನಾದರೂ ತಿನ್ನಬಾರದು.

ಅವನು ಪ್ರತ್ಯೇಕಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ತನ್ನ ದಿವಸಗಳನ್ನು ಕರ್ತನಿಗೆ ಪ್ರತ್ಯೇಕಿಸಿ ಅಪರಾಧ ಬಲಿಯಾಗಿ ಒಂದು ವರುಷದ ಕುರಿಮರಿ ಯನ್ನು ತರಬೇಕು; ಆದರೆ ಮೊದಲಿನ ದಿವಸಗಳು ವ್ಯರ್ಥವಾಗುವವು; ಅವನು ಪ್ರತ್ಯೇಕಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟದ್ದು ಅಶುದ್ಧವಾಯಿತು.

ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ನಾಜೀರನು ಪ್ರತ್ಯೇಕಿಸಿಕೊಂಡ ತನ್ನ ತಲೆಯನ್ನು ಸಭೆಯ ಗುಡಾರದ ಬಾಗಲಿನ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬೋಳಿಸಿ ಪ್ರತ್ಯೇಕಿಸಿದ ತನ್ನ ತಲೆಯ ಕೂದಲನ್ನು ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡು ಸಮಾಧಾನದ ಅರ್ಪಣೆಗಳ ಬಲಿಯ ಕೆಳಗಿರುವ ಬೆಂಕಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹಾಕ ಬೇಕು.
ಅರಣ್ಯಕಾಂಡ 6:21
ಪ್ರಮಾಣಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡ ನಾಜೀರನ ನಿಯ ಮವು ಇದೇ. ಅವನ ಕೈಗೆ ದೊರಕಿದ್ದಲ್ಲದೆ ಅವನು ತನ್ನ ಪ್ರತ್ಯೇಕಿಸುವಿಕೆಗಾಗಿ ಕರ್ತನಿಗೆ ಅರ್ಪಿಸತಕ್ಕದ್ದು. ಅವನು ಪ್ರಮಾಣಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ತಾನು ಪ್ರತ್ಯೇಕಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಂತೆ ಅವನು ಮಾಡಬೇಕು.
