ಯಾಜಕನು ಆ ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯನ್ನು ಕರ್ತನ ಸಮ್ಮುಖದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಲ್ಲಿಸಿ ಆಕೆಯ ತಲೆಯ ಮೇಲಿರುವ ಮುಸುಕನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದು ಅವಳ ಕೈಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ರೋಷದ ಕಾಣಿಕೆಯಾಗಿರುವ ಜ್ಞಾಪಕದ ಕಾಣಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಇಡಬೇಕು. ಆದರೆ ಯಾಜಕನ ಕೈಯಲ್ಲಿ ಶಪಿಸುವಂತ ಕಹಿಯಾದ ನೀರು ಇರಬೇಕು.

ಆ ಸ್ತ್ರೀಗೆ ಶಪಿಸುವಂತ ಕಹಿಯಾದ ನೀರನ್ನು ಕುಡಿಸಬೇಕು. ಆಗ ಶಪಿಸುವ ನೀರು ಅವಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸೇರಿ ಕಹಿಯಾಗುವದು.

ಆಗ ಯಾಜಕನು ಪವಿತ್ರ ವಾದ ನೀರನ್ನು ಮಣ್ಣಿನ ಗಡಿಗೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ತೆಗೆದು ಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು; ಗುಡಾರದ ನೆಲದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಧೂಳನ್ನು ಯಾಜಕನು ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡು ಆ ನೀರಿನೊಳಗೆ ಹಾಕಬೇಕು.
