Numbers 18:1
ಕರ್ತನು ಆರೋನನಿಗೆ--ನೀನೂ ನಿನ್ನ ಕುಮಾರರೂ ನಿನ್ನ ಪಿತೃಗಳ ಮನೆಯೂ ನಿನ್ನೊಂದಿಗೆ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧ ಸ್ಥಳದ ಅಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಹೊತ್ತು ಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು; ನೀನು ನಿನ್ನ ಕುಮಾರರ ಸಹಿತವಾಗಿ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಯಾಜಕತ್ವದ ಅಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಹೊತ್ತುಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು.

ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್‌ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಪಾಪವನ್ನು ಹೊತ್ತುಕೊಂಡು ಸಾಯದ ಹಾಗೆ ಇನ್ನು ಮೇಲೆ ಸಭೆಯ ಗುಡಾರದ ಸವಿಾಪಕ್ಕೆ ಬರಬಾರದು.

Numbers 17:13
ಕರ್ತನ ಗುಡಾರದ ಸವಿಾಪಕ್ಕೆ ಬರುವವರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಸಾಯುವರು. ಸಾಯುವದರಿಂದ ನಾವು ನಾಶವಾಗಬೇಕೋ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು.

ಆಗ ಮೋಶೆಯು ಆ ಕೋಲುಗಳನ್ನು ಸಾಕ್ಷಿಯ ಗುಡಾರ ದೊಳಗೆ ಕರ್ತನ ಸಮ್ಮುಖದಲ್ಲಿ ಇಟ್ಟನು.

Numbers 17:3
ಆರೋನನ ಹೆಸರನ್ನು ಲೇವಿಯ ಕೋಲಿನ ಮೇಲೆ ಬರೆಯಬೇಕು. ಅವರ ಪಿತೃಗಳ ಮನೆಯ ಮುಖ್ಯಸ್ಥನಿಗೆ ಒಂದು ಕೋಲು ಇರಬೇಕು.
