Nehemiah 7:1
ನಾನು ಗೋಡೆಯನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಿಸಿ ಬಾಗಲುಗಳನ್ನು ನಿಲ್ಲಿಸಿದ ತರುವಾಯ ಬಾಗಲು ಕಾಯುವವರೂ ಹಾಡುಗಾರರೂ ಲೇವಿಯರೂ ನೇಮಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟರು.

ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧ ಸ್ಥಾನದ ಪಾತ್ರೆಗಳೂ ಸೇವೆಮಾಡುವ ಯಾಜಕರೂ ದ್ವಾರಪಾಲಕರೂ ಹಾಡುಗಾರರೂ ಇರುವ ಕೊಠಡಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ ಮಕ್ಕಳೂ ಲೇವಿಯರ ಮಕ್ಕಳೂ ಕಾಣಿಕೆಯಾದ ಧಾನ್ಯವನ್ನೂ ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷೇರಸವನ್ನೂ ಎಣ್ಣೆಯನ್ನೂ ತರಬೇಕು. ನಾವು ನಮ್ಮ ದೇವರ ಆಲಯವನ್ನು ಮರೆತು ಬಿಡುವುದಿಲ್ಲ ಅಂದರು.

ಆಗ ಪ್ರಧಾನ ಯಾಜಕನಾದ ಎಲ್ಯಾಷೀಬನೂ ಅವನ ಸಹೋದರರಾದ ಯಾಜಕರೂ ಎದ್ದು ಕುರಿ ಬಾಗಲನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಿದರು. ಇವರು ಅದನ್ನು ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧ ಮಾಡಿ ಅದರ ಬಾಗಲುಗಳನ್ನು ನಿಲ್ಲಿಸಿದರು. ಹಮ್ಮೆಯದ ಗೋಪುರದ ಮಟ್ಟಿಗೂ ಹನನೇಲನ ಗೋಪುರದ ವರೆಗೂ ಅದನ್ನು ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧ ಮಾಡಿದರು.

ಅವರು ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ದೇವರ ಆಲಯಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದ ಎರಡನೇ ವರುಷದ ಎರ ಡನೇ ತಿಂಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಶೆಯಲ್ತಿಯೇಲನ ಮಗನಾದ ಜೆರುಬ್ಬಾ ಬೆಲನೂ ಯೋಚಾದಾಕನ ಮಗನಾದ ಯೇಷೂ ವನೂ ಉಳಿದ ಅವರ ಸಹೋದರರಾದ ಯಾಜಕರೂ ಲೇವಿಯರೂ ಸೆರೆಯಿಂದ ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿಗೆ ಬಂದ ಎಲ್ಲರೂ ಪ್ರಾರಂಭಿಸಿ ಇಪ್ಪತ್ತು ವರುಷ ಪ್ರಾಯಕ್ಕೆ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿದ ಲೇವಿಯರನ್ನು ಕರ್ತನ ಆಲಯದ ಕೆಲಸ ನಡಿಸುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಇಟ್ಟರು.

ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ದಾವೀದನೂ ಸೈನ್ಯಾಧಿಪತಿಗಳೂ ಆಸಾಫ್ ಹೇಮಾನ್ ಯೆದುತೂನ್ ಇವರ ಕುಮಾರರಲ್ಲಿ ಕಿನ್ನರಿ ವೀಣೆ ತಾಳಗಳಿಂದ ಪ್ರವಾದಿಸಲು ತಕ್ಕವರನ್ನು ಸೇವೆಗೆ ಪ್ರತ್ಯೇಕಿಸಿದರು. ಮತ್ತು ಕೆಲಸದವರ ಲೆಕ್ಕವು ಅವರ ಸೇವೆಯ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ವಾಗಿತ್ತು.

ಹೀಗೆ ದಾವೀದನು ಮುದುಕನಾಗಿಯೂ ದಿವಸಗಳು ತುಂಬಿದವನಾಗಿಯೂ ಇರು ವಾಗ ತನ್ನ ಮಗನಾದ ಸೊಲೊಮೋನನನ್ನು ಇಸ್ರಾ ಯೇಲಿನ ಮೇಲೆ ಅರಸನನ್ನಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಿದನು.
