ಇದಾದ ಮೇಲೆ ಆ ದಿವಸಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದು ದಿನ ಆತನು ದೇವಾಲಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಜನರಿಗೆ ಬೋಧಿಸುತ್ತಾ ಸುವಾರ್ತೆಯನ್ನು ಸಾರುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾಗ ಪ್ರಧಾನ ಯಾಜಕರು ಶಾಸ್ತ್ರಿಗಳು ಹಿರಿಯರ ಕೂಡ ಆತನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದು
