ಆರೋನನ ಸಂತತಿಯವರಲ್ಲಿ ಒಬ್ಬನು ಕುಷ್ಠರೋಗಿ ಇಲ್ಲವೆ ಸ್ರಾವವುಳ್ಳವನಿದ್ದರೆ ಅವನು ಶುದ್ಧನಾಗುವ ವರೆಗೆ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧವಾದವುಗಳನ್ನು ತಿನ್ನಬಾರದು. ಹೆಣದಿಂದ ಅಶುದ್ಧವಾದದ್ದನ್ನು ಮುಟ್ಟಿದವನು ಇಲ್ಲವೆ ತನ್ನೊಳಗಿಂದ ವೀರ್ಯ ಹೊರಟವನು

ಸ್ರಾವವುಳ್ಳವನು ತನ್ನ ಸ್ರಾವದಿಂದ ಶುದ್ಧನಾದರೆ ತನ್ನ ಶುದ್ಧತೆಗಾಗಿ ಏಳು ದಿನಗಳನ್ನು ಲೆಕ್ಕಮಾಡಿ ತನ್ನ ಬಟ್ಟೆಗಳನ್ನು ಒಗೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು. ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಹರಿಯುವ ನೀರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ತನ್ನ ಶರೀರವನ್ನು ತೊಳೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು; ಆಗ ಅವನು ಶುದ್ಧನಾಗಿರುವನು.

ಇಸ್ರಾ ಯೇಲಿನ ಮಕ್ಕಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ಹೇಳಬೇಕಾದದ್ದೇನಂದರೆಯಾವ ಮನುಷ್ಯನಿಗಾದರೂ ಅವರ ಶರೀರದಲ್ಲಿ ಮೇಹಸ್ರಾವ ಇರುವದಾಗಿದ್ದರೆ ಆ ಸ್ರಾವದ ನಿಮಿತ್ತ ವಾಗಿ ಅವನು ಅಶುದ್ಧನಾಗಿರುವನು.

ಅವನು ಅತಿ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧವಾದ ಮತ್ತು ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧವಾದ ತನ್ನ ದೇವರ ರೊಟ್ಟಿಯನ್ನು ತಿನ್ನಬೇಕು.

Leviticus 11:24
ಇವುಗಳು ನಿಮಗೆ ಅಶುದ್ಧವಾಗಿರುವವು. ಅವುಗಳ ಶವಗಳನ್ನು ಮುಟ್ಟುವವನು ಸಾಯಂಕಾಲದ ವರೆಗೂ ಅಶುದ್ಧನಾಗಿರುವನು.
