Leviticus 16:4
ಅವನು ಪರಿ ಶುದ್ಧವಾದ ನಾರುಬಟ್ಟೆಯ ಮೇಲಂಗಿಯನ್ನು ತೊಟ್ಟು ಕೊಂಡು ತನ್ನ ಶರೀರದ ಮೇಲೆ ನಾರುಬಟ್ಟೆಯ ಇಜಾರುಗಳನ್ನು ಹಾಕಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು ಮತ್ತು ನಾರಿನ ನಡುಕಟ್ಟನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಿಕೊಂಡು ನಾರಿನ ಮುಂಡಾಸವನ್ನು ಧರಿಸಬೇಕು. ಇವು ಪವಿತ್ರವಾದ ಉಡುಪುಗಳು; ಆದಕಾರಣ ಅವನು ತನ್ನ ಶರೀರವನ್ನು ನೀರಿನಿಂದ ತೊಳೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಧರಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು.

ಅವನು ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧ ಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲಿ ತನ್ನ ಶರೀರವನ್ನು ನೀರಿನಿಂದ ತೊಳೆದು ತನ್ನ ಬಟ್ಟೆಗಳನ್ನು ಧರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಹೊರಗೆ ಬಂದು ತನ್ನ ದಹನಬಲಿಯನ್ನೂ ಜನರ ದಹನಬಲಿಯನ್ನೂ ಸಮ ರ್ಪಿಸಿ ತನಗೋಸ್ಕರವೂ ಜನರಿಗೋಸ್ಕರವೂ ಪ್ರಾಯ ಶ್ಚಿತ್ತಮಾಡಬೇಕು.
