Leviticus 16:13
ಅವನು ಸಾಯದ ಹಾಗೆ ಆ ಧೂಪದ ಹೊಗೆಯು ಸಾಕ್ಷಿಯ ಮೇಲಿರುವ ಕೃಪಾಸನವು ಮುಚ್ಚಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವಂತೆ ಆ ಧೂಪವನ್ನು ಕರ್ತನ ಎದುರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಉರಿಯುವ ಕೆಂಡಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಹಾಕಬೇಕು.

Leviticus 22:9
ಆದದರಿಂದ ಅವರು ಅದನ್ನು ಅಪವಿತ್ರಪಡಿಸಿದರೆ ಅದರ ನಿಮಿತ್ತವಾಗಿ ಪಾಪವನ್ನು ಹೊತ್ತು ಸಾಯದಂತೆ ನನ್ನ ವಿಧಿಗಳನ್ನು ಕೈಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು. ಅವರನ್ನು ಶುದ್ಧೀಕರಿಸುವ ಕರ್ತನು ನಾನೇ.

ಆರೋನನೂ ಅವನ ಕುಮಾರರೂ ಸಭೆಯ ಗುಡಾರಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗುವಾಗಲೂ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧ ಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲಿ ಸೇವೆಮಾಡುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಯಜ್ಞವೇದಿಯ ಸವಿಾಪಕ್ಕೆ ಬರುವಾಗಲೂ ತಮ್ಮ ಅಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಹೊತ್ತು ಸಾಯದ ಹಾಗೆ ಇವುಗಳನ್ನು ಹಾಕಿಕೊಂಡಿರಬೇಕು. ಇದೇ ಅವನಿಗೂ ಅವನ ತರುವಾಯ ಅವನ ಸಂತತಿಯ ವರಿಗೂ ಇರಬೇಕಾದ ನಿತ್ಯವಾದ ಕಟ್ಟಳೆ.
