Romans 5:14
ಆದರೂ ಆದಾಮನಿಂದ ಮೋಶೆಯವರೆಗೂ ಮರಣದ ಆಳಿಕೆಯು ನಡೆಯುತ್ತಿತ್ತು. ಆದಾಮನ ಆ ಅತಿಕ್ರಮಣಕ್ಕೆ ಸಮಾನವಾದ ಪಾಪವನ್ನು ಮಾಡದೆ ಇದ್ದವರ ಮೇಲೆಯೂ ಅದು ನಡೆಯುತ್ತಿತ್ತು. ಆ ಆದಾಮನು ಬರಬೇಕಾದ ಒಬ್ಬಾತನಿಗೆ ಸೂಚನೆ ಯಾಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ.
