ಕೀರ್ತನೆಗಳು 118

1 1 ಕರ್ತನಿಗೆ ಉಪಕಾರಸ್ತುತಿ ಮಾಡಿರಿ; ಆತನು ಒಳ್ಳೆಯವನು; ಆತನ ಕರು ಣೆಯು ಯುಗಯುಗಕ್ಕೂ ಇದೆ.

2 ಆತನ ಕರುಣೆಯು ಯುಗಯುಗಕ್ಕೂ ಇದೆ ಎಂದು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್‌ ಹೇಳಲಿ.

3 ಆತನ ಕರುಣೆಯು ಯುಗಯುಗಕ್ಕೂ ಇದೆ ಎಂದು ಆರೋನನ ಮನೆಯವರು ಹೇಳಲಿ.

4 ಆತನ ಕರುಣೆಯು ಯುಗಯುಗಕ್ಕೂ ಇದೆ ಎಂದು ಕರ್ತನಿಗೆ ಭಯಪಡುವವರು ಹೇಳಲಿ.

5 ಇಕ್ಕಟ್ಟಿನೊಳಗಿಂದ ಕರ್ತನಿಗೆ ಕೂಗಿದೆನು; ಕರ್ತನು ಉತ್ತರ ಕೊಟ್ಟು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ವಿಶಾಲ ಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಲ್ಲಿಸಿ ದನು.

6 ಕರ್ತನು ನನ್ನ ಪರವಾಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ; ನಾನು ಭಯಪಡೆನು; ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ನನಗೆ ಏನು ಮಾಡುವನು?

7 ನನಗೆ ಸಹಾಯ ಮಾಡುವವರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಕರ್ತನು ನನ್ನ ಪಕ್ಷವನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿಯುತ್ತಾನೆ. ಆದದರಿಂದ ನಾನು ನನ್ನ ಹಗೆಯವರ ಮೇಲೆ ನನ್ನಾಶೆಯನ್ನು ತೀರಿಸು ವದನ್ನು ನಾನು ನೋಡುವೆನು.

8 ಮನುಷ್ಯರಲ್ಲಿ ಭರ ವಸವಿಡುವದಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಕರ್ತನಲ್ಲಿ ನಂಬಿಕೆಯಿಡುವದು ಒಳ್ಳೇದು.

9 ಅಧಿಪತಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಭರವಸವಿಡುವದಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಕರ್ತನನ್ನು ನಂಬಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವದು ಒಳ್ಳೇದು.

10 ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಜನಾಂಗದವರು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಸುತ್ತಿಕೊಂಡರು; ನಾನು ಕರ್ತನ ಹೆಸರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರನ್ನು ನಾಶಮಾಡು ವೆನು.

11 ಅವರು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಸುತ್ತಿಕೊಂಡರು; ಹೌದು, ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಸುತ್ತಿಕೊಂಡರು; ಕರ್ತನ ಹೆಸರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಅವ ರನ್ನು ಸಂಹರಿಸುವೆನು.

12 ಜೇನ್ನೊಣಗಳ ಹಾಗೆ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಸುತ್ತಿಕೊಂಡರೂ ಅವರು ಮುಳ್ಳುಗಳ ಬೆಂಕಿಯ ಹಾಗೆ ಆರಿಹೋಗುತ್ತಾರೆ, ಕರ್ತನ ಹೆಸರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ನಾನು ಅವ ರನ್ನು ಸಂಹರಿಸುವೆನು.

13 ನಾನು ಬೀಳುವ ಹಾಗೆ ನೀನು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಕಠಿಣವಾಗಿ ನೂಕಿದ್ದೀ; ಆದರೆ ಕರ್ತನು ನನಗೆ ಸಹಾಯ ಮಾಡಿ ದನು.

14 ನನ್ನ ಬಲವೂ ಕೀರ್ತನೆಯೂ ಕರ್ತನೇ; ಆತನೇ ನನಗೆ ರಕ್ಷಣೆಯಾದನು.

15 ರಕ್ಷಣೆಯ ಉತ್ಸಾಹದ ಧ್ವನಿಯು ನೀತಿವಂತರ ಗುಡಾರಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಅದೆ; ಕರ್ತನ ಬಲಗೈ ಪರಾಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ನಡಿಸುತ್ತದೆ.

16 ಕರ್ತನ ಬಲಗೈ ಉನ್ನತವಾಗಿದೆ; ಕರ್ತನ ಬಲಗೈ ಪರಾಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ನಡಿಸುತ್ತದೆ.

17 ನಾನು ಸಾಯದೆ ಬದುಕಿ, ಕರ್ತನ ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಪ್ರಕಟಿಸುವೆನು.

18 ಕರ್ತನು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಕಠಿಣವಾಗಿ ಶಿಕ್ಷಿಸಿದನು; ಮರಣಕ್ಕೆ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಒಪ್ಪಿಸಲಿಲ್ಲ.

19 ನೀತಿಯ ಬಾಗಲುಗಳನ್ನು ನನಗೆ ತೆರೆಯಿರಿ; ಅವುಗಳೊಳಗೆ ಪ್ರವೇಶಿಸಿ ಕರ್ತನನ್ನು ಕೊಂಡಾಡು ವೆನು.

20 ಇದೇ ಕರ್ತನ ಬಾಗಲು, ನೀತಿವಂತರು ಅದರಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರವೇಶಿಸುವರು.

21 ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಕೊಂಡಾಡು ವೆನು; ನನಗೆ ನೀನು ಉತ್ತರಕೊಟ್ಟು, ನನ್ನ ರಕ್ಷಣೆಯಾದಿ.

22 ಮನೆ ಕಟ್ಟುವವರು ತಳ್ಳಿದ ಕಲ್ಲೇ ಮುಖ್ಯವಾದ ಮೂಲೆಗಲ್ಲಾಯಿತು.

23 ಇದು ಕರ್ತನಿಂದುಂಟಾಗಿ ನಮ್ಮ ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳಿಗೆ ಆಶ್ಚರ್ಯವಾಗಿದೆ.

24 ಕರ್ತನು ಮಾಡಿದ ದಿನವು ಇದೇ; ಇದರಲ್ಲಿ ನಾವು ಉಲ್ಲಾಸಿಸಿ ಸಂತೋಷಪಡುವೆವು.

25 ಓ ಕರ್ತನೇ, ರಕ್ಷಿಸಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಬೇಡುತ್ತೇನೆ. ಓ ಕರ್ತನೇ, ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿಯನ್ನು ಕೊಡು ಎಂದು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಬೇಡುತ್ತೇನೆ.

26 ಕರ್ತನ ಹೆಸರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಬರುವವನಿಗೆ ಆಶೀರ್ವಾದವಾಗಲಿ; ಕರ್ತನ ಆಲಯ ದೊಳಗಿಂದ ನಾವು ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಆಶೀರ್ವದಿಸಿದೆವು.

27 ದೇವರು ಕರ್ತನಾಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ. ಆತನು ನಮಗೆ ಬೆಳಕನ್ನು ತೋರಿಸಿದ್ದಾನೆ. ಬಲಿ (ಪಶುವನ್ನು) ಹಗ್ಗಗಳಿಂದ ಕಟ್ಟಿ ಬಲಿಪೀಠದ ಕೊಂಬುಗಳಿಗೆ ಕಟ್ಟಿರಿ,

28 ನೀನು ನನ್ನ ದೇವರಾಗಿದ್ದೀ; ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಕೊಂಡಾಡುವೆನು; ನನ್ನ ದೇವರೇ, ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಘನಪಡಿಸುವೆನು.

29 ಕರ್ತನನ್ನು ಕೊಂಡಾಡಿರಿ; ಆತನು ಒಳ್ಳೆಯವನು. ಆತನ ಕರು ಣೆಯು ಯುಗಯುಗಕ್ಕೂ ಅದೆ.

1 O give thanks unto the Lord; for he is good: because his mercy endureth for ever.

2 Let Israel now say, that his mercy endureth for ever.

3 Let the house of Aaron now say, that his mercy endureth for ever.

4 Let them now that fear the Lord say, that his mercy endureth for ever.

5 I called upon the Lord in distress: the Lord answered me, and set me in a large place.

6 The Lord is on my side; I will not fear: what can man do unto me?

7 The Lord taketh my part with them that help me: therefore shall I see my desire upon them that hate me.

8 It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in man.

9 It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in princes.

10 All nations compassed me about: but in the name of the Lord will I destroy them.

11 They compassed me about; yea, they compassed me about: but in the name of the Lord I will destroy them.

12 They compassed me about like bees; they are quenched as the fire of thorns: for in the name of the Lord I will destroy them.

13 Thou hast thrust sore at me that I might fall: but the Lord helped me.

14 The Lord is my strength and song, and is become my salvation.

15 The voice of rejoicing and salvation is in the tabernacles of the righteous: the right hand of the Lord doeth valiantly.

16 The right hand of the Lord is exalted: the right hand of the Lord doeth valiantly.

17 I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord.

18 The Lord hath chastened me sore: but he hath not given me over unto death.

19 Open to me the gates of righteousness: I will go into them, and I will praise the Lord:

20 This gate of the Lord, into which the righteous shall enter.

21 I will praise thee: for thou hast heard me, and art become my salvation.

22 The stone which the builders refused is become the head stone of the corner.

23 This is the Lord’s doing; it is marvellous in our eyes.

24 This is the day which the Lord hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.

25 Save now, I beseech thee, O Lord: O Lord, I beseech thee, send now prosperity.

26 Blessed be he that cometh in the name of the Lord: we have blessed you out of the house of the Lord.

27 God is the Lord, which hath shewed us light: bind the sacrifice with cords, even unto the horns of the altar.

28 Thou art my God, and I will praise thee: thou art my God, I will exalt thee.

29 O give thanks unto the Lord; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.
