Luke 2:46
ಮೂರು ದಿವಸ ಗಳಾದ ಮೇಲೆ ಆತನು ದೇವಾಲಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಬೋಧಕರ ನಡುವೆ ಕೂತುಕೊಂಡು ಅವರ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿಸಿ ಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಾ ಅವರನ್ನು ಪ್ರಶ್ನಿಸುತ್ತಾ ಇರುವದನ್ನು ಅವರು ಕಂಡರು.

ಬಳಲಿ ಹೋದವನನ್ನು ಹೇಗೆ ಮಾತಿನಿಂದ ಆದರಿಸುವಿ ಎಂಬದನ್ನು ನಾನು ತಿಳಿಯುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಕರ್ತನಾದ ದೇವರು ಶಿಕ್ಷಿತ ನಾಲಿಗೆಯನ್ನು ನನಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾನೆ. ಆತನು ಹೊತ್ತಾರೆಯಿಂದ ಹೊತ್ತಾರೆಗೆ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಎಚ್ಚರಿಸಿ ಸುಶಿಕ್ಷಿತರಂತೆ ನಾನು ಕೇಳುವ ಹಾಗೆ ನನ್ನ ಕಿವಿಯನ್ನು ಆತನು ಜಾಗರೂಕಗೊಳಿಸುತ್ತಾನೆ.
ಯೆಶಾಯ 49:1
1 ಓ ದ್ವೀಪ ನಿವಾಸಿಗಳೇ, ನನ್ನ ಮಾತನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿರಿ. ದೂರದ ಜನಗಳೇ, ಕಿವಿಗೊಡಿರಿ! ನಾನು ಗರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದಾಗಲೇ ಕರ್ತನು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಕರೆ ದನು. ತಾಯಿಯ ಉದರದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದಂದಿನಿಂದಲೂ ನನ್ನ ಹೆಸರನ್ನು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾನೆ.
