ಆರೋನನನ್ನೂ ಅವನೊಂದಿಗೆ ಅವನ ಕುಮಾರರನ್ನೂ ಕರೆದು ಉಡುಪು ಗಳನ್ನೂ ಅಭಿಷೇಕ ತೈಲವನ್ನೂ ಪಾಪದ ಬಲಿಗಾಗಿ ಹೋರಿಯನ್ನೂ ಎರಡು ಟಗರುಗಳನ್ನೂ ಹುಳಿಯಿಲ್ಲದ ರೊಟ್ಟಿಯ ಬುಟ್ಟಿಯನ್ನೂ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು.

ಆರೋನನನ್ನೂ ಅವನ ಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನೂ ಸಭೆಯ ಗುಡಾರದ ಬಾಗಿಲಿನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬರಮಾಡಿ ಅವರನ್ನು ನೀರಿನಿಂದ ತೊಳೆಯಬೇಕು.

ಮೊದಲು ತನ್ನ ಸ್ವಂತ ಪಾಪಪರಿಹಾರಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಆಮೇಲೆ ಜನರ ಪಾಪ ಪರಿಹಾರಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಯಜ್ಞಾರ್ಪಣೆ ಮಾಡುವ ಮಹಾ ಯಾಜಕರಂತೆ ಈತನು ಪ್ರತಿನಿತ್ಯವೂ ಸಮರ್ಪಿಸ ಬೇಕಾದ ಅವಶ್ಯವಿಲ್ಲ. ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಈತನು ತನ್ನನ್ನೇ ಸಮರ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಒಂದೇ ಸಾರಿ ಆ ಕೆಲಸವನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿ ಮುಗಿಸಿದನು.
