Leviticus 17:6
ಯಾಜಕನು ಸಭೆಯ ಗುಡಾರದ ಬಾಗಿಲ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕರ್ತನ ಯಜ್ಞವೇದಿಯ ಮೇಲೆ ರಕ್ತವನ್ನು ಚಿಮುಕಿಸಬೇಕು. ಕೊಬ್ಬನ್ನು ಕರ್ತನಿಗೆ ಸುಗಂಧವಾಸನೆಯಾಗಿ ಸುಡಬೇಕು.

ಆರೋನನ ಕುಮಾರರು ಅದನ್ನು ಯಜ್ಞವೇದಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬೆಂಕಿಯ ಮೇಲಿರುವ ಕಟ್ಟಿಗೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ದಹನ ಬಲಿಯಾಗಿ ಸುಡಬೇಕು; ಅದು ಬೆಂಕಿಯಿಂದ ಮಾಡಿದ ಕಾಣಿಕೆಯಾಗಿದ್ದು ಕರ್ತನಿಗೆ ಸುವಾಸನೆಯಾಗಿರುವದು.

ಆ ಟಗರನ್ನು ಯಜ್ಞವೇದಿಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಸುಡಬೇಕು, ಅದು ಕರ್ತನಿಗೆ ದಹನಬಲಿಯಾಗಿದೆ. ಅದು ಕರ್ತನಿಗೆ ಸುವಾಸನೆಯ ದಹನಬಲಿಯಾಗಿದೆ.
