ಆದದರಿಂದ ಕರ್ತನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಮೇಲೆ ಕೋಪದಿಂದ ಉರಿಗೊಂಡು--ನಾನು ಅವರ ತಂದೆ ಗಳಿಗೆ ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿದ ನನ್ನ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಈ ಜನಾಂಗವು ವಿಾರಿ ನನ್ನ ಮಾತನ್ನು ಕೇಳದೆ ಹೋದ ದರಿಂದ

ಕರ್ತನ ಕೋಪವು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮೇಲೆ ಉರಿಯುವದು; ಆತನು ನಿಮಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟ ಒಳ್ಳೇ ದೇಶದಿಂದ ನೀವು ಬೇಗನೆ ನಾಶವಾಗಿ ಹೋಗುವಿರಿ ಅಂದನು.

ವಿಮೋಚನಕಾಂಡ 24:3
ಮೋಶೆಯು ಬಂದು ಕರ್ತನ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನೂ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ನ್ಯಾಯವಿಧಿಗಳನ್ನೂ ಜನರಿಗೆ ತಿಳಿಯಪಡಿ ಸಿದನು; ಆಗ ಜನರೆಲ್ಲಾ ಒಂದೇ ಸ್ವರದಿಂದ--ಕರ್ತನು ಹೇಳಿದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಮಾತುಗಳ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಮಾಡುತ್ತೇವೆ ಎಂದು ಉತ್ತರಕೊಟ್ಟರು.
