ಯೆಹೋಶುವ 8:2
ನೀನು ಯೆರಿಕೋವಿಗೂ ಅದರ ಅರಸನಿಗೂ ಯಾವ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಮಾಡಿದಿಯೋ ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಆಯಿಗೂ ಅದರ ಅರಸನಿಗೂ ಮಾಡಬೇಕು. ಅದರ ಕೊಳ್ಳೆಯನ್ನೂ ಪಶುಗಳನ್ನೂ ಮಾತ್ರವೇ ನಿಮಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಸುಲು ಕೊಳ್ಳಿರಿ. ನೀವು ಆ ಪಟ್ಟಣದ ಹಿಂಭಾಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದು ಆಸರೆಯನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಿರಿ ಅಂದನು.

| the spoil | שְׁלָלָ֥הּ | šĕlālāh | sheh-la-LA |
| cattle the and thereof, | וּבְהֶמְתָּ֖הּ | ûbĕhemtāh | oo-veh-hem-TA |
| prey a for take ye shall thereof, | תָּבֹ֣זּוּ | tābōzzû | ta-VOH-zoo |
| lay yourselves: unto | לָכֶ֑ם | lākem | la-HEM |
| thee an ambush | שִׂים | śîm | seem |
| for the city | לְךָ֥ | lĕkā | leh-HA |
| behind | אֹרֵ֛ב | ʾōrēb | oh-RAVE |
| it. | לָעִ֖יר | lāʿîr | la-EER |
