ಆದರೆ ಕಾವಲಿನವರ ಅಧಿಪತಿಯಾದ ನೆಬೂಜರದಾನನು ದೇಶದ ಬಡವರಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಲವರನ್ನು ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷೇತೋಟ ಕಾಯು ವವರಾಗಿಯೂ ಬೇಸಾಯ ಮಾಡುವವರಾಗಿಯೂ ಬಿಟ್ಟನು.

ಯೆರೆವಿಾಯನು ಇನ್ನು ಹಿಂತಿ ರುಗದೆ ಇರುವಾಗ ನೆಬೂಜರದಾನನು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೇ ನಂದರೆ--ಬಾಬೆಲಿನ ಅರಸನು ಯೆಹೂದದ ಪಟ್ಟಣ ಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಯಾಗಿ ಇಟ್ಟ ಶಾಫಾನನ ಮಗ ನಾದ ಅಹೀಕಾಮನ ಮಗನಾದ ಗೆದಲ್ಯನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ತಿರುಗಿಕೋ, ಅವನ ಸಂಗಡ ಜನರೊಳಗೆ ವಾಸ ಮಾಡು; ಇಲ್ಲವೆ ಎಲ್ಲಿ ಹೋಗುವದಕ್ಕೆ ನಿನಗೆ ಸರಿಯಾಗಿ ಕಾಣುತ್ತದೋ ಅಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಹೋಗು ಅಂದನು. ಆಗ ಕಾವಲಿನವರ ಅಧಿಪತಿಯು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಆಹಾರವನ್ನೂ ಬಹುಮಾನವನ್ನೂ ಕೊಟ್ಟು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿಬಿಟ್ಟನು.

ಮನುಷ್ಯಪುತ್ರನೇ, ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ದೇಶದ ಹಾಳು ಪ್ರದೇಶಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸಿಸುವರು-- ಅಬ್ರಹಾಮನೇ ಒಬ್ಬನಾಗಿದ್ದು ದೇಶವನ್ನು ಸ್ವತಂತ್ರಿಸಿ ಕೊಂಡನು, ಆದರೆ ನಾವು ಬಹಳ ಜನರಾಗಿದ್ದು ದೇಶವು ನಮಗೆ ಸ್ವಾಸ್ತ್ಯವಾಗಿ ಕೊಡಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾರೆ.
