Jeremiah 46:12
ಜನಾಂಗಗಳು ನಿನ್ನ ಮಾನಭಂಗವನ್ನು ಕುರಿತು ಕೇಳಿಯವೆ, ನಿನ್ನ ಕೂಗು ದೇಶವನ್ನು ತುಂಬಿಸಿ ಯದೆ; ಪರಾಕ್ರಮಶಾಲಿಯು ಪರಾಕ್ರಮಶಾಲಿಯ ಮೇಲೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಎಡವಿದ್ದಾರೆ; ಏಕವಾಗಿ ಬಿದ್ದುಹೋಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ನಾನಿಲ್ಲದೆ ಕೈದಿಗಳ ಕೆಳಗೆ ಮುದುರಿಕೊಂಡು, ಹತರಾಗಿರುವವರ ಕೆಳಗೆ ಬಿದ್ದಿರುವದೇ ಇವರ ಗತಿ. ಇಷ್ಟಾದರೂ ಆತನ ಕೋಪವು ತೀರದೆ ಆತನ ಕೈ ಇನ್ನೂ ಚಾಚಿಯೇ ಇರುವದು.
