Jeremiah 38:14
ಆಗ ಅರಸನಾದ ಚಿದ್ಕೀಯನು ಪ್ರವಾದಿಯಾದ ಯೆರೆವಿಾಯನನ್ನು ತನ್ನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಕರೆಯಿಸಿ ಕರ್ತನ ಆಲಯದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಮೂರನೇ ಪ್ರವೇಶಕ್ಕೆ ಕರಕೊಂಡು ಹೋದನು. ಆಗ ಅರಸನು ಯೆರೆವಿಾಯನಿಗೆ--ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನಿಂದ ಒಂದು ಕೇಳುತ್ತೇನೆ, ನನಗೆ ಯಾವದನ್ನಾದರೂ ಬಚ್ಚಿಡಬೇಡ ಅಂದನು.

ಆಗ ಅರಸನು ಅವನಿಗೆ--ನೀನು ಕರ್ತನ ಹೆಸರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಸತ್ಯ ವನ್ನಲ್ಲದೆ ಬೇರೊಂದು ನನಗೆ ಹೇಳಬಾರದೆಂದು ನಾನು ಎಷ್ಟುಸಾರಿ ನಿನಗೆ ಆಣೆ ಇಡಬೇಕು ಅಂದನು.
