ಅವರು ಅರಸರನ್ನು ಧಿಕ್ಕರಿಸುವರು; ಪ್ರಧಾನರು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಪರಿಹಾಸ್ಯ ಮಾಡುವರು. ಕೋಟೆಗಳಿಗೆಲ್ಲಾ ಕುಚೋದ್ಯ ಮಾಡು ವರು. ಮಣ್ಣನ್ನು ಕುಪ್ಪೆಮಾಡಿ ಅದನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿಯುವರು.

ಅವನ ಆಳಿಕೆಯ ಒಂಭತ್ತನೇ ವರುಷದಲ್ಲಿ, ಹತ್ತನೇ ತಿಂಗಳಿನ ಹತ್ತನೇ ದಿವಸದಲ್ಲಿ ಬಾಬೆಲಿನ ಅರಸನಾದ ನೆಬೂಕದ್ನೆಚ್ಚರನು ತಾನು ತನ್ನ ಸಮಸ್ತ ಸೈನ್ಯದ ಸಂಗಡ ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಬಂದು ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ದಂಡಿಳಿದು ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಸುತ್ತಲೂ ಕೋಟೆಗಳನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಿದನು.
