ಆಗ ಲೋಟನು ಅವರ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಹೊರಗೆ ಬಂದು ಬಾಗಿಲನ್ನು ತನ್ನ ಹಿಂದೆ ಮುಚ್ಚಿಕೊಂಡು--
| And Lot | וַיֵּצֵ֧א | wayyēṣēʾ | va-yay-TSAY |
| went out | אֲלֵהֶ֛ם | ʾălēhem | uh-lay-HEM |
| at the door | ל֖וֹט | lôṭ | lote |
| unto | הַפֶּ֑תְחָה | happetḥâ | ha-PET-ha |
| them, and shut | וְהַדֶּ֖לֶת | wĕhaddelet | veh-ha-DEH-let |
| the door | סָגַ֥ר | sāgar | sa-ɡAHR |
| after | אַֽחֲרָֽיו׃ | ʾaḥărāyw | AH-huh-RAIV |
