Ezekiel 36:20
ಅವರು ಆ ಅನ್ಯಜನಾಂಗಗಳೊಳಗೆ ಸೇರಿಕೊಂಡ ಮೇಲೆ--ಇವರೇ ಕರ್ತನ ಜನರು ಮತ್ತು ಇವರು ಆತನ ದೇಶದಿಂದ ಹೊರಟುಹೋದರು ಎಂದು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಹೇಳಿ ನನ್ನ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧ ಹೆಸರನ್ನು ಅಪವಿತ್ರಮಾಡುವರು.

ಆದರೆ ಅವರು ಎಲ್ಲಿ ಬರು ವರೋ ಆ ಅನ್ಯಜನಾಂಗಗಳೊಳಗೆ ತಮ್ಮ ಅಸಹ್ಯಗಳ ನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ತಿಳಿಸುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಅವರಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಲವರನ್ನು ಕತ್ತಿ ಯಿಂದಲೂ ಬರಗಾಲದಿಂದಲೂ ವ್ಯಾಧಿಯಿಂದಲೂ ಉಳಿಸುವೆನು. ಆಗ ನಾನೇ ಕರ್ತನು ಎಂದು ಅವರು ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವರು.

ನೀವು ಯೆಹೂದದ ಅರಸನಾದ ಹಿಜ್ಕೀಯನಿಗೆ ಹೇಳಬೇಕಾದದ್ದೇನಂದರೆ--ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮು ಅಶ್ಶೂ ರಿನ ಅರಸನ ಕೈಯಲ್ಲಿ ಒಪ್ಪಿಸಲ್ಪಡುವದಿಲ್ಲವೆಂದು ನೀನು ನಂಬಿರುವ ನಿನ್ನ ದೇವರು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಮೋಸಗೊಳಿಸ ದಿರಲಿ.

ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಕರ್ತನು ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ತಪ್ಪಿಸೇ ತಪ್ಪಿಸುವನೆಂದೂ ಈ ಪಟ್ಟಣವು ಅಶ್ಶೂರಿನ ಅರಸನ ಕೈಯಲ್ಲಿ ಒಪ್ಪಿಸಲ್ಪಡುವದಿಲ್ಲವೆಂದೂ ಹಿಜ್ಕೀ ಯನು ನಿಮಗೆ ಕರ್ತನಲ್ಲಿ ಭರವಸೆ ಹುಟ್ಟಿಸದೆ ಇರಲಿ.
ಯೆಹೋಶುವ 7:9
ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಕಾನಾನ್ಯರೂ ದೇಶ ವಾಸಿಗಳೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಇದನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿ ನಮ್ಮ ಸುತ್ತಲೂ ಸುತ್ತಿ ಕೊಂಡು ನಮ್ಮ ಹೆಸರನ್ನು ಭೂಮಿಯಿಂದ ತೆಗೆದು ಬಿಡುವರು; ಆಗ ನಿನ್ನ ಮಹತ್ತಾದ ಹೆಸರಿಗೆ ಏನು ಮಾಡುವಿ ಅಂದನು.
