Ezekiel 29:9
ಅವನು--ಆ ನದಿಯು ನನ್ನದೇ, ನಾನೇ ಅದನ್ನು ನಿರ್ಮಿಸಿದವನೆಂದು ಹೇಳಿಕೊಂಡದ್ದ ರಿಂದ ಐಗುಪ್ತ ದೇಶವು ಹಾಳು ಅರಣ್ಯವಾಗುವದು; ಆಗ ನಾನೇ ಕರ್ತನೆಂದು ಅವರು ತಿಳಿಯುವರು.

ಆದದರಿಂದ ಇಗೋ, ನಾನು ನಿನಗೆ ವಿರೋಧ ವಾಗಿಯೂ ನಿನ್ನ ನದಿಗಳಿಗೆ ವಿರುದ್ಧವಾಗಿಯೂ ಇದ್ದೇನೆ. ಐಗುಪ್ತದೇಶವನ್ನು ಸೆವೇನೆಯ ಗೋಪುರ ಮೊದಲುಗೊಂಡು ಕೂಷಿನ ಪ್ರಾಂತ್ಯದವರೆಗೂ ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣವಾಗಿ ಕಾಡಾಗಿಯೂ ಹಾಳಾಗಿಯೂ ಮಾಡುತ್ತೇನೆ.

ಮನುಷ್ಯನ ಗರ್ವವು ತನ್ನನ್ನು ಹೀನಸ್ಥಿತಿಗೆ ತರುವದು; ಆತ್ಮದಲ್ಲಿ ದೀನರಾಗಿರುವವರು ಸನ್ಮಾನಹೊಂದುವರು.

ಆಗ ಅವರು ಹಾಳಾಗಿರುವ ದೇಶಗಳೊಳಗೆ ಹಾಳಾಗುವರು. ಅದರ ಪಟ್ಟಣ ಗಳು ಹಾಳಾದ ಪಟ್ಟಗಳ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಇರುವವು.

ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನು ಹೀಗೆ ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾನೆ. ನಾನು ವಿಗ್ರಹಗಳನ್ನು ಹಾಳು ಮಾಡಿ ಬೊಂಬೆಗಳನ್ನು ನೋಫಿನಲ್ಲಿ ತೀರಿಸಿಬಿಡುವೆನು; ಐಗುಪ್ತದೇಶದ ಪ್ರಭುವು ಇನ್ನು ಇರುವದಿಲ್ಲ, ನಾನು ಐಗುಪ್ತ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಭಯವನ್ನು ಉಂಟುಮಾಡುತ್ತೇನೆ.
