Ezekiel 25:14
ನಾನು ನನ್ನ ಜನರಾದ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಮೂಲಕವಾಗಿ ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರತಿದಂಡನೆಯನ್ನು ಎದೋಮಿನ ಮೇಲೆ ಇಡುವೆನು, ಅವರು ಎದೋಮಿನಲ್ಲಿ ನನ್ನ ಕೋಪದ ಪ್ರಕಾರವೂ ರೋಷದ ಪ್ರಕಾರವೂ ಮಾಡು ವರು; ಹೀಗೆಯೇ ಅವರು ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರತಿದಂಡನೆಯನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಯುವರೆಂದು ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾನೆ.

ಯೆಶಾಯ 63:1
ಎದೋಮಿನಿಂದಲೂ ರಕ್ತಾಂಬರ ಧರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಬೊಚ್ರದಿಂದಲೂ ಬರುವ ಇವನ್ಯಾರು? ಪ್ರಭೆಯುಳ್ಳ ವಸ್ತ್ರಗಳನ್ನು ತೊಟ್ಟುಕೊಂಡ ವನಾಗಿ ತನ್ನ ಮಹಾಪರಾಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂಚಾರ ಮಾಡುವ ಇವನ್ಯಾರು? ನೀತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾತನಾಡು ವವನೂ ರಕ್ಷಿಸಲು ಬಲಿಷ್ಠನೂ ಆಗಿರುವ ನಾನೇ.

ಜನಗಳು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಸೇವಿಸಲಿ, ಜನಾಂಗಗಳು ನಿನಗೆ ಅಡ್ಡಬೀಳಲಿ, ನಿನ್ನ ಸಹೋದರರಿಗೆ ನೀನು ದೊರೆ ಯಾಗಿರು. ನಿನ್ನ ತಾಯಿಯ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ನಿನಗೆ ಅಡ್ಡಬೀಳಲಿ, ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಶಪಿಸುವವರಿಗೆ ಶಾಪವೂ ಆಶೀರ್ವದಿಸುವ ವರಿಗೆ ಆಶೀರ್ವಾದವೂ ಆಗಲಿ ಅಂದನು.
