ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ, ನಿನ್ನ ಸೌಂದ ರ್ಯದಿಂದ ನಿನ್ನ ಕೀರ್ತಿಯು ಅನ್ಯಜನಾಂಗಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಹಬ್ಬಿತು; ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನ ಮೇಲೆ ಇಟ್ಟ ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣ ವೈಭವದಿಂದಲೇ ಎಂದು ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾನೆ.

ದೇವರು ಸೊಲೊಮೋನನ ಹೃದಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಉಂಟು ಮಾಡಿದ ಅವನ ಜ್ಞಾನವನ್ನು ಕೇಳುವದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಭೂಮಿಯಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಸಮಸ್ತರು ಅವನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದರು.

ನಿನ್ನ ಮುಂದೆ ಇದ್ದ ಪೂರ್ವದ ದಿವಸಗಳನ್ನು ದೇವರು ಭೂಮಿಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಮನುಷ್ಯನನ್ನು ಸೃಷ್ಟಿಸಿ ದಂದಿನಿಂದ ವಿಚಾರಿಸು; ಆಕಾಶದ ಈ ಕಡೆಯಿಂದ ಆ ಕಡೆಯವರೆಗೂ ವಿಚಾರಿಸು; ಇದರಂತೆ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಕಾರ್ಯ ಉಂಟಾಯಿತೇ? ಇಲ್ಲವೆ ಇದರಂತೆ ಕೇಳ ಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿತೇ?

ಹೀಗಿರುವ ದರಿಂದ ನೀವು ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಕೈಕೊಂಡು ಅನುಸರಿಸಿರಿ; ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಜನಾಂಗಗಳ ಮುಂದೆ ಇರುವ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಜ್ಞಾನವೂ ನಿಮ್ಮ ವಿವೇಕವೂ ಇದೇ ಆಗಿದೆ. ಅವರು ಈ ನಿಯಮಗಳನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಕೇಳಿ--ನಿಶ್ಚಯವಾಗಿ ಈ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಜನಾಂಗವು ಜ್ಞಾನವೂ ವಿವೇಕವೂ ಉಳ್ಳ ಜನವಾಗಿದೆ ಅನ್ನುವರು.
