Exodus 4:31
ಕರ್ತನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ ಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನು ದರ್ಶಿಸಿ ಅವರ ಸಂಕಟವನ್ನು ನೋಡಿದ್ದಾನೆಂದು ಅವರು ಕೇಳಿದಾಗ ತಲೆಬಾಗಿಸಿ ಆರಾಧಿಸಿದರು.

ಬಂಡೆಯ ನೆಲದವರು ಯಾರಂದರೆ, ಅವರು ವಾಕ್ಯವನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿದಾಗ ಸಂತೋಷದಿಂದ ಅಂಗೀಕರಿಸುವರು; ಇವರು ಬೇರಿಲ್ಲದಿರುವದರಿಂದ ಸ್ವಲ್ಪಕಾಲ ನಂಬಿ ಶೋಧನೆ ಬಂದಾಗ ಬಿದ್ದು ಹೋಗುವರು.

ದಾವೀದನು ಸಮಸ್ತ ಸಭೆಗೆ--ಈಗ ನಿಮ್ಮ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನನ್ನು ಸ್ತುತಿಸಿರಿ ಅಂದನು. ಆಗ ಸಭೆಯವರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ತಮ್ಮ ಪಿತೃಗಳ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತ ನನ್ನು ಸ್ತುತಿಸುತ್ತಾ ತಮ್ಮ ತಲೆಗಳನ್ನು ಬಾಗಿಸಿ ಕರ್ತನನ್ನೂ ಅರಸನನ್ನೂ ಆರಾಧಿಸಿದರು.

ನೀವು ಅವ ರಿಗೆ--ಕರ್ತನು ಐಗುಪ್ತದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಐಗುಪ್ತ್ಯರನ್ನು ಸಂಹರಿಸಿ ನಮ್ಮ ಮನೆಗಳನ್ನು ಕಾಪಾಡುವದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಮನೆಗಳನ್ನು ದಾಟಿಹೋದ ಕರ್ತನ ಪಸ್ಕವೇ ಇದು ಎಂದು ನೀವು ಹೇಳಬೇಕು ಅಂದನು. ಆಗ ಜನರು ತಲೆಬಾಗಿಸಿ ಆರಾಧಿಸಿದರು.

ಆತನು--ನೀನು ಹೋಗಿ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ ಹಿರಿಯ ರನ್ನು ಕೂಡಿಸಿ ಅವರಿಗೆ--ನಿಮ್ಮ ಪಿತೃಗಳ ದೇವರೂ ಅಬ್ರಹಾಮನ ದೇವರೂ ಇಸಾಕನ ದೇವರೂ ಯಾಕೋಬನ ದೇವರೂ ಆಗಿರುವ ಕರ್ತನು ನನಗೆ ಕಾಣಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು--ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನೂ ಐಗುಪ್ತದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಮಗೆ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದನ್ನೂ ನಿಶ್ಚಯವಾಗಿ ನಾನು ನೋಡಿದ್ದೇನೆ.

ಅವರು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ನಂಬದೆ ಮೊದಲನೆಯ ಮಹ ತ್ಕಾರ್ಯವನ್ನು ತಿರಸ್ಕರಿಸಿದರೂ ಎರಡನೆಯದನ್ನು ಲಕ್ಷ್ಯವಿಟ್ಟು ನಂಬುವರು.

ಆಗ ಕರ್ತನು--ಐಗುಪ್ತದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ನನ್ನ ಜನರ ವ್ಯಥೆಯನ್ನು ನಿಶ್ಚಯವಾಗಿಯೂ ಕಂಡಿದ್ದೇನೆ, ಬಿಟ್ಟೀ ಕೆಲಸಮಾಡಿಸುವವರ ವಿಷಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರು ಇಟ್ಟ ಮೊರೆಯು ನನಗೆ ಕೇಳಿಸಿತು. ಅವರ ದುಃಖವನ್ನು ಬಲ್ಲೆನು.

ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನು ಸ್ತುತಿ ಹೊಂದಲಿ, ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಆತನು ತನ್ನ ಜನರನ್ನು ಸಂಧಿಸಿ ಅವರನ್ನು ವಿಮೋಚಿ ಸಿದ್ದಾನೆ.
