Exodus 34:25
ನನ್ನ ಬಲಿಯ ರಕ್ತವನ್ನು ಹುಳಿಹಿಟ್ಟಿನ ಸಂಗಡ ಅರ್ಪಿಸಬಾರದು. ಇಲ್ಲವೆ ಪಸ್ಕ ಹಬ್ಬದ ಬಲಿಯನ್ನು ಬೆಳಗಿನ ವರೆಗೂ ಉಳಿಸಬಾರದು.

ಆ ರಾತ್ರಿಯಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಆ ಮಾಂಸವನ್ನು ತಿನ್ನಬೇಕು. ಬೆಂಕಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸುಟ್ಟು ಅದನ್ನೂ ಹುಳಿಯಿಲ್ಲದ ರೊಟ್ಟಿಗ ಳನ್ನೂ ಕಹಿಯಾದ ಪಲ್ಯಗಳ ಸಂಗಡ ತಿನ್ನಬೇಕು.

ಹುಳಿಕಲಸಿದ್ದು ಯಾವದೇ ಆಗಿರಲಿ ನೀವು ತಿನ್ನಬಾರದು; ನಿಮ್ಮ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ನಿವಾಸ ಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಹುಳಿಯಿಲ್ಲದ ರೊಟ್ಟಿಗಳನ್ನೇ ತಿನ್ನಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.

ಪ್ರತಿಷ್ಠೆಯ ಮಾಂಸದ ಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ರೊಟ್ಟಿಯಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಮರುದಿನದ ವರೆಗೆ ಏನಾದರೂ ಮಿಕ್ಕಿದ್ದರೆ ಅದನ್ನು ಬೆಂಕಿಯಿಂದ ಸುಡ ಬೇಕು. ಅದು ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧವಾಗಿರುವದರಿಂದ ಅದನ್ನು ಊಟ ಮಾಡಬಾರದು.

ಅದರಲ್ಲಿ ಹುಳಿ ರೊಟ್ಟಿಯನ್ನು ತಿನ್ನಬಾರದು. ಏಳು ದಿವಸ ಹುಳಿ ಇಲ್ಲದ ಶ್ರಮೆಯ ರೊಟ್ಟಿಗಳನ್ನು ಅದರಲ್ಲಿ ತಿನ್ನಬೇಕು; ತ್ವರೆಯಾಗಿ ಐಗುಪ್ತದೇಶದೊಳಗಿಂದ ನೀನು ಹೊರಗೆ ಬಂದಿ; ಆದಕಾರಣ ನೀನು ಐಗುಪ್ತದೇಶದೊಳಗಿಂದ ಹೊರಗೆ ಬಂದ ದಿವಸವನ್ನು ನೀನು ಜೀವಿಸುವ ದಿವಸ ಗಳಲ್ಲೆಲ್ಲಾ ಜ್ಞಾಪಕಮಾಡಬೇಕು.

ಆದದರಿಂದ ನೀವು ಹುಳಿ ಇಲ್ಲದ ವರಾದ ಕಾರಣ ಹೊಸ ಕಣಿಕವಾಗಿರುವಂತೆ ಆ ಹಳೇ ಹುಳಿಯನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಹಾಕಿರಿ. ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ನಮ್ಮ ಪಸ್ಕವಾಗಿರುವ ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನೇ ನಮಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಯಜ್ಞಾರ್ಪಿತ ನಾಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ.
