Exodus 29:30
ಅವನ ಬದಲಾಗಿ ಅವನ ಮಗನು ಯಾಜಕತ್ವವನ್ನು ನಡಿಸಿ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧ ಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲಿ ಸೇವೆಮಾಡುವಂತೆ ಬರುವದಕ್ಕಿರುವವನು ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಏಳು ದಿನಗಳ ವರೆಗೆ ತೊಟ್ಟುಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು.

ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ಯರ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ಹೇಳ ಬೇಕಾದದ್ದೇನಂದರೆ--ಒಬ್ಬ ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯು ಗರ್ಭಧರಿಸಿ ಗಂಡುಮಗುವನ್ನು ಹೆತ್ತರೆ, ಅವಳು ಏಳು ದಿನಗಳು ಅಶುದ್ಧಳಾಗಿರಬೇಕು; ತನ್ನ ಮುಟ್ಟಿಗಾಗಿ ಪ್ರತ್ಯೇಕಿಸಿದ ದಿನಗಳ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಅವಳು ಅಶುದ್ಧಳಾಗಿರಬೇಕು.

ಏಳು ದಿನಗಳ ವರೆಗೆ ಹುಳಿಯಿಲ್ಲದ ರೊಟ್ಟಿಗಳನ್ನು ತಿನ್ನಬೇಕು. ಮೊದಲನೆಯ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಹುಳಿಹಿಟ್ಟನ್ನು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮನೆಯೊಳಗಿಂದ ತೆಗೆದುಹಾಕಬೇಕು; ಮೊದಲನೆಯ ದಿನದಿಂದ ಏಳ ನೆಯ ದಿನದ ವರೆಗೆ ಹುಳಿರೊಟ್ಟಿಯನ್ನು ತಿನ್ನುವವರು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನೊಳಗಿಂದ ತೆಗೆದು ಹಾಕಲ್ಪಡಬೇಕು.
ಆದಿಕಾಂಡ 8:12
ಇನ್ನೂ ಏಳು ದಿನಗಳು ತಡೆದು ಪಾರಿವಾಳವನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟಾಗ ಅದು ತಿರಿಗಿ ಅವನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬರಲೇ ಇಲ್ಲ.
