Exodus 24:12
ಕರ್ತನು ಮೋಶೆಗೆ--ಬೆಟ್ಟವನ್ನೇರಿ ನನ್ನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದು ಅಲ್ಲೇ ಇರು. ನಾನು ನಿನಗೆ ಕಲ್ಲಿನ ಹಲಗೆಗಳನ್ನು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಕಲಿಸುವದಕ್ಕೋಸ್ಕರ ನಾನು ಬರೆದ ನ್ಯಾಯ ಪ್ರಮಾಣವನ್ನು ಆಜ್ಞೆಗೆಳನ್ನು ಕೊಡುವೆನು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.

ಆಗ ಮೋಶೆಯು ತಿರುಗಿಕೊಂಡು ಎರಡೂ ಬದಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬರೆದಿರುವ ಹಲಗೆಗಳಾದ ಸಾಕ್ಷಿಯ ಎರಡು ಹಲಗೆಗಳನ್ನು ಕೈಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹಿಡಿದುಕೊಂಡು ಬೆಟ್ಟದಿಂದಿ ಳಿದನು; ಆ ಹಲಗೆಗಳು ಈ ಪಕ್ಕದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಆ ಪಕ್ಕದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಬರೆಯಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿದ್ದವು.

ಆತನು ಮೋಶೆಯ ಸಂಗಡ ಸೀನಾಯಿ ಬೆಟ್ಟದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿ ಮುಗಿಸಿದ ಮೇಲೆ ಅವನಿಗೆ ಆ ಎರಡು ಸಾಕ್ಷಿ ಹಲಗೆಗಳನ್ನೂ ಕೊಟ್ಟನು. ಅವು ದೇವರ ಕೈಯಿಂದ ಕೆತ್ತಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ಕಲ್ಲಿನ ಹಲಗೆಗಳಾಗಿದ್ದವು.

ಆಗ ಮೋಶೆಯು ಮೇಘದ ಮಧ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗಿ ಬೆಟ್ಟವನ್ನೇರಿದನು. ಅವನು ನಾಲ್ವತ್ತು ಹಗಲೂ ನಾಲ್ವತ್ತು ರಾತ್ರಿಯೂ ಪರ್ವತದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದನು.

ಹೀಗೆ ಮೋಶೆಯು ಬೆಟ್ಟವನ್ನೇರಿ ಹೋದನು. ಆಗ ಮೇಘವು ಬೆಟ್ಟವನ್ನು ಮುಚ್ಚಿಕೊಂಡಿತು.

ಮೋಶೆ ಒಬ್ಬನೇ ಕರ್ತನ ಸವಿಾಪಕ್ಕೆ ಬರಲಿ; ಆದರೆ ಅವರು ಸವಿಾಪಕ್ಕೆ ಬರಬಾರದು. ಇಲ್ಲವೆ ಜನರು ಅವನ ಸಂಗಡ ಬರಬಾರದು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.

ಆದರೆ ಮರಣದ ಸೇವೆಯು ಕಲ್ಲಿನ ಮೇಲೆ ಲಿಖಿತವಾದ ಅಕ್ಷರಗಳಲ್ಲಿದ್ದರೂ ಪ್ರಭಾವದಿಂದ ಕೂಡಿದ್ದಾಗಿತ್ತು; ಆ ಪ್ರಭಾವದಿಂದ ಮೋಶೆಯ ಮುಖಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದ ಪ್ರಕಾಶವು ಕುಂದಿ ಹೋಗುವಂಥ ದ್ದಾಗಿದ್ದರೂ ಅದರ ನಿಮಿತ್ತ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ಯರು ಅವನ ಮುಖವನ್ನು ದೃಷ್ಟಿಸಿ ನೋಡಲಾರದೆ ಇದ್ದರು.

ಆದದರಿಂದ ಯಾವನಾದರೂ ಈ ಆಜ್ಞೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಚಿಕ್ಕದಾದ ಒಂದನ್ನು ಮಾರಿ ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಜನರಿಗೆ ಬೋಧಿಸಿದರೆ ಅವನು ಪರಲೋಕರಾಜ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಲ್ಪನೆಂದು ಕರೆಯಲ್ಪಡುವನು; ಯಾವನಾದರೂ ಇವುಗಳನ್ನು ಕೈಕೊಂಡು ಬೋಧಿಸಿದರೆ ಅವನೇ ಪರಲೋಕ ರಾಜ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ದೊಡ್ಡವನೆಂದು ಕರೆಯಲ್ಪಡು ವನು.
ಯೆರೆಮಿಯ 31:33

ನೀವು ದಾಟಿಹೋಗಿ ಸ್ವತಂತ್ರಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾಡತಕ್ಕ ನಿಯಮ ನ್ಯಾಯಗಳನ್ನು ನಿಮಗೆ ಬೋಧಿಸಬೇಕೆಂದು ಆಗಲೇ ಕರ್ತನು ನನಗೆ ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿದನು.
