ಫರೋಹನು ಈ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿ ಮೋಶೆ ಯನ್ನು ಕೊಲ್ಲಲು ಹುಡುಕಿದನು. ಆದರೆ ಮೋಶೆಯು ಫರೋಹನ ಎದುರಿನಿಂದ ಓಡಿಹೋಗಿ ಮಿದ್ಯಾನ್ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದು ಒಂದು ಬಾವಿಯ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕೂತು ಕೊಂಡನು.

ಆದಿಕಾಂಡ 29:2
ಅವನು ಕಣ್ಣೆತ್ತಿ ನೋಡಲಾಗಿ ಹೊಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದು ಬಾವಿ ಇತ್ತು. ಇಗೋ, ಅದರ ಸವಿಾಪದಲ್ಲಿ ಮೂರು ಕುರಿಗಳ ಮಂದೆಗಳು ಮಲಗಿದ್ದವು. ಆ ಬಾವಿಯ ನೀರನ್ನು ಮಂದೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಅವರು ಕುಡಿಸು ತ್ತಿದ್ದರು. ಆ ಬಾವಿಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಒಂದುದೊಡ್ಡ ಕಲ್ಲು ಇತ್ತು.

ಸಂಜೆಯಾದಾಗ ನೀರಿಗಾಗಿ ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯರು ಪಟ್ಟಣದ ಹೊರಗೆ ಬರುವ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಬಾವಿಯ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂಟೆಗಳು ಮೊಣಕಾಲೂರಿ ಮಲಗುವಂತೆ ಅವನು ಮಾಡಿದನು.

ಮಿದ್ಯಾನನ ಕುಮಾರರು ಏಫನೂ ಏಫರನೂ ಹನೋಕನೂ ಅಬೀದನೂ ಎಲ್ದಾವನೂ, ಇವರೆಲ್ಲಾ ಕೆಟೂರಳ ಮಕ್ಕಳು.
