Exodus 15:9
ಶತ್ರುವು--ನಾನು ಹಿಂದಟ್ಟಿ, ಹಿಡಿ ಯುವೆನು, ಕೊಳ್ಳೆಯನ್ನು ಹಂಚಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವೆನು, ನನ್ನ ಆಶೆಗಳು ಅವರಿಂದ ತೃಪ್ತಿಹೊಂದುವವು. ನಾನು ನನ್ನ ಖಡ್ಗವನ್ನು ಹಿರಿಯುವೆನು, ನನ್ನ ಕೈ ಅವರನ್ನು ಸಂಹಾರ ಮಾಡುವದು ಅಂದನು.

ಬೆನ್ಯಾವಿಾನನು ತೋಳದಂತೆ ಸೀಳುವನು. ಬೆಳಿಗ್ಗೆ ಸುಲಿಗೆಯನ್ನು ತಿಂದುಬಿಡುವನು. ಸಾಯಂಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೊಳ್ಳೆಯನ್ನು ಪಾಲುಮಾಡುವನು.

ಈ ದೇಶಗಳ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ದೇವರುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾರೂ ತಮ್ಮ ದೇಶವನ್ನು ನನ್ನ ಕೈಯಿಂದ ಬಿಡಿಸಲಾರದ ಮೇಲೆ ಕರ್ತನು ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮನ್ನು ನನ್ನ ಕೈಯಿಂದ ಬಿಡಿಸು ವನೋ ಅನ್ನುತ್ತಾನೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.

ಅವನು ಅಂದು ಕೊಳ್ಳುವದೇನಂದರೆ--ನನ್ನ ಅಧಿಪತಿಗಳೆಲ್ಲಾ ರಾಜರಲ್ಲವೇ?

ಈಜೆಬೆಲಳು ಎಲೀಯನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ದೂತ ನನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿ--ನಾನು ನಾಳೆ ಇಷ್ಟು ಹೊತ್ತಿಗೆ ಅವ ರಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಒಬ್ಬೊಬ್ಬನ ಪ್ರಾಣದ ಹಾಗೆ ನಿನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾಣಕ್ಕೂ ಮಾಡದೆ ಹೋದರೆ ದೇವರುಗಳು ನನಗೆ ಹೀಗೆಯೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗಿಯೂ ಮಾಡಲಿ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದಳು.
ವಿಮೋಚನಕಾಂಡ 14:8
ಐಗುಪ್ತದ ಅರಸನಾದ ಫರೋಹನ ಹೃದಯವನ್ನು ಕರ್ತನು ಕಠಿಣ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ಅವನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ ಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನು ಹಿಂದಟ್ಟಿದನು. ಆದರೆ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಧೈರ್ಯ ದಿಂದ ಹೊರಗೆ ಹೋದರು.
