ಆಗ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್‌ ದಂಡಿನ ಮುಂದೆ ಹೋಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ದೇವದೂತನು ತನ್ನ ಸ್ಥಳವನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಅವರ ಹಿಂದೆ ಬಂದನು. ಅವರ ಮುಂದೆ ಇದ್ದ ಮೇಘಸ್ತಂಭವು ಅಲ್ಲಿಂದ ಬಂದು ಅವರ ಹಿಂದೆ ನಿಂತುಕೊಂಡಿತು.
