ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬನು ತನ್ನ ನೆರೆಯವ ನಿಂದಲೂ ಪ್ರತಿ ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯು ತನ್ನ ನೆರೆಯವಳಿಂದಲೂ ಬೆಳ್ಳಿ ಬಂಗಾರದ ಒಡವೆಗಳನ್ನು ಕೊಡುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಕೇಳಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು.

ಮೋಶೆಯು ಹೇಳಿದಂತೆ ಇಸ್ರಾ ಯೇಲ್ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಮಾಡಿ ಬೆಳ್ಳಿ ಬಂಗಾರದ ಒಡವೆಗಳನ್ನೂ ವಸ್ತ್ರಗಳನ್ನೂ ಐಗುಪ್ತ್ಯರಿಂದ ಕೇಳಿ ಪಡೆದರು.

ಆದದರಿಂದ ನಾನು ಅವರಿಗೆ--ಚಿನ್ನ ಇದ್ದವರು ಅದನ್ನು ಕಿತ್ತು ಬಿಡಲಿ ಅಂದೆನು. ಅವರು ಅದನ್ನು ನನಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟರು. ನಾನು ಅದನ್ನು ಬೆಂಕಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹಾಕಿದಾಗ ಈ ಕರುವು ಉಂಟಾ ಯಿತು ಅಂದೆನು.

ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಆರೋನನು ಅವರಿಗೆ--ನಿಮ್ಮ ಹೆಂಡತಿಯರ ಮತ್ತು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಕುಮಾರ ಕುಮಾರ್ತೆಯರ ಕಿವಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಚಿನ್ನದ ವಾಲೆಗಳನ್ನು ಕಿತ್ತು ನನ್ನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ತನ್ನಿರಿ ಅಂದನು.

ಕರ್ತನು ಐಗುಪ್ತದಲ್ಲಿ ಮೋಶೆ ಆರೋನರ ಸಂಗಡ ಮಾತನಾಡಿ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೇನಂದರೆ--
ಆದಿಕಾಂಡ 31:9
ಹೀಗೆ ದೇವರು ನಿಮ್ಮ ತಂದೆಯ ಪಶುಗಳನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದು ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ನನಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾನೆ.
