Exodus 10:29
ಮೋಶೆಯು ಅವನಿಗೆ--ನೀನು ಸರಿಯಾಗಿ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೀ. ಇನ್ನು ಮೇಲೆ ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನ ಮುಖವನ್ನು ನೋಡುವದಿಲ್ಲ ಅಂದನು.

ಆಗ ಮೋಶೆಯು ಫರೋಹನಿಗೆ--ಕರ್ತನು ಹೀಗೆ ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾನೆ--ಸುಮಾರು ಮಧ್ಯರಾತ್ರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಾನು ಐಗುಪ್ತದ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಹಾದು ಹೋಗುವೆನು.

ಆಗ ಫರೋಹನೂ ಅವನ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಸೇವಕರೂ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಐಗುಪ್ತ್ಯರೂ ರಾತ್ರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಎದ್ದರು. ಆಗ ಐಗುಪ್ತದಲ್ಲಿ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಗೋಳಾಟವಾಯಿತು. ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಸತ್ತವರಿಲ್ಲದ ಒಂದು ಮನೆಯಾದರೂ ಇರಲಿಲ್ಲ.
