Esther 6:1
ಆ ರಾತ್ರಿ ಅರಸನಿಗೆ ನಿದ್ರೆ ಬಾರದ್ದದರಿಂದ ವೃತಾಂತಗಳನ್ನು ಬರೆದಿರುವ ಪುಸ್ತಕವನ್ನು ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡು ಬರಲು ಹೇಳಿದನು.

ಹಾ, ದೇವರ ಜ್ಞಾನದ ಮತ್ತು ತಿಳುವಳಿಕೆಯ ಐಶ್ವರ್ಯವು ಎಷ್ಟೋ ಅಗಾಧ ವಾಗಿದೆ! ಆತನ ತೀರ್ಪುಗಳು ಪರಿಶೋಧನೆಗೂ ಆತನ ಮಾರ್ಗಗಳು ಕಂಡು ಹಿಡಿಯುವದಕ್ಕೂ ಅಸಾಧ್ಯ ವಾಗಿವೆ!

ಬಡವರೂ ದರಿದ್ರರೂ ನೀರನ್ನು ಹುಡುಕಿ ಕಾಣದೇ ಬಾಯಾರಿಕೆಯಿಂದ ನಾಲಿಗೆ ಒಣಗಿದಾಗ ಕರ್ತನಾದ ನಾನೇ ಅವರನ್ನು ಅಲೈಸುವೆನು, ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ ದೇವ ರಾಗಿರುವ ನಾನು ಅವರನ್ನು ಕೈಬಿಡೆನು.

ನನ್ನ ಬೇಡುವಿಕೆಯ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಕೊಡಲೂ ನನ್ನ ವಿಜ್ಞಾಪನೆಯ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಮಾಡಲೂ ಅರಸನಿಗೆ ಸಮ್ಮತಿ ಯಾದರೆ ಅರಸನಿಗೂ ಹಾಮಾನನಿಗೂ ನಾನು ಇನ್ನೂ ಮಾಡುವ ಔತಣಕ್ಕೆ ಬರಬೇಕು. ನಾಳೆ ಅರಸನು ಹೇಳಿದ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಮಾಡುವೆನು ಅಂದಳು.
