Deuteronomy 31:20
ನಾನು ಅವರ ಪಿತೃಗಳಿಗೆ ಪ್ರಮಾಣಮಾಡಿದಂಥ ಹಾಲೂ ಜೇನೂ ಹರಿಯುವಂಥ ದೇಶಕ್ಕೆ ಅವರನ್ನು ತರಲಾಗಿ ಅವರು ತಿಂದು ತೃಪ್ತಿಯಾಗಿ ಕೊಬ್ಬಿದವ ರಾದಾಗ ಅವರು ಅನ್ಯದೇವರುಗಳ ಕಡೆಗೆ ತಿರುಗಿ ಕೊಂಡು ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಸೇವಿಸಿ ನನಗೆ ಕೋಪವನ್ನೆಬ್ಬಿಸಿ ನನ್ನ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ವಿಾರುವರು.

ನೀನು ತಿಂದು ತೃಪ್ತಿ ಹೊಂದಿದಾಗ ನಿನ್ನ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನು ನಿನಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟ ಉತ್ತಮ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಆತನನ್ನು ಸ್ತುತಿಸಬೇಕು.

ನೀನು ಸ್ವತಂತ್ರಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗುವ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿನ್ನ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಬರಮಾಡಿದಾಗ ಆತನು ನಿನಗಿಂತ ದೊಡ್ಡ ವರೂ ಬಲಿಷ್ಠರೂ ಆದ ಏಳು ಜನಾಂಗಗಳನ್ನು ಅಂದರೆ ಹಿತ್ತಿಯರನ್ನೂ ಗಿರ್ಗಾಷಿಯರನ್ನೂ ಅಮೋರಿಯರನ್ನೂ ಕಾನಾನ್ಯರನ್ನೂ ಪೆರಿಜ್ಜೀಯರನ್ನೂ ಹಿವ್ವಿಯರನ್ನೂ ಯೆಬೂಸಿಯರನ್ನೂ ಈ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಬಹಳ ಜನಾಂಗ ಗಳನ್ನು ನಿನ್ನ ಮುಂದೆ ಹೊರಡಿಸಿ

ಐಗುಪ್ತದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಮಗುಂಟಾಗಿರುವ ಸಂಕಟದಿಂದ ಬಿಡಿಸಿ ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಕಾನಾನ್ಯರೂ ಹಿತ್ತಿಯರೂ ಅಮೋರಿಯರೂ ಪೆರಿಜೀಯರೂ ಹಿವ್ವಿಯರೂ ಯೆಬೂಸಿಯರೂ ಇರುವ ಹಾಲೂ ಜೇನೂ ಹರಿಯುವ ದೇಶಕ್ಕೆ ಬರಮಾಡುವೆನೆಂದು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೇನೆ ಎಂದು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಹೇಳು.
