Deuteronomy 31:14
ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಕರ್ತನು ಮೋಶೆಗೆ--ಇಗೋ, ನೀನು ಸಾಯುವ ದಿನಗಳು ಸವಿಾಪವಾದವು. ಯೆಹೋಶುವ ನನ್ನು ಕರೆದು ನೀವು ಸಭೆಯ ಗುಡಾರದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಂತು ಕೊಳ್ಳಿರಿ; ಆಗ ಅವನಿಗೆ ಆಜ್ಞೆ ಕೊಡುವೆನು ಅಂದನು. ಈ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಮೋಶೆಯೂ ಯೆಹೋಶುವನೂ ಹೋಗಿ ಸಭೆಯ ಗುಡಾರದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಂತುಕೊಂಡರು.

ಯೆಶಾಯ 38:1
ಆ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಹಿಜ್ಕೀಯನು ರೋಗಿಯಾಗಿ ಸಾಯುವದಕ್ಕಿದ್ದನು. ಆಗ ಆಮೋಚನ ಮಗನೂ ಪ್ರವಾದಿಯೂ ಆದ ಯೆಶಾಯನು ಅವನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದು ಅವನಿಗೆ--ನಿನ್ನ ಮನೆಯ ವಿಷಯವಾಗಿ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆ ಮಾಡಿಕೋ; ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ನೀನು ಉಳಿಯುವ ಹಾಗಿಲ್ಲ, ಸಾಯಬೇಕಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂಬದಾಗಿ ಕರ್ತನು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾನೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.
ಪ್ರಸಂಗಿ 9:5
ಬದುಕಿರುವವರು ತಾವು ಸಾಯುತ್ತೇವೆಂದು ತಿಳಿದಿ ದ್ದಾರೆ; ಆದರೆ ಸತ್ತವರಿಗೆ ಏನೂ ತಿಳಿಯದು. ಇಲ್ಲವೆ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಇನ್ನು ಮೇಲೆ ಪ್ರತಿಫಲವೇನೂ ಇರದು. ಅವರ ಜ್ಞಾಪಕವು ಮರೆತುಹೋಗಿದೆ.
ಯೋಬನು 2:1
ತಿರಿಗಿ ಒಂದು ದಿನ ಕರ್ತನ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಂತುಕೊಳ್ಳುವದಕ್ಕೆ ದೇವರ ಪುತ್ರರು ಬಂದಾಗ ಸೈತಾನನು ಸಹ ಅವರ ಸಂಗಡ ಬಂದನು.
ಯೋಬನು 1:6
ಒಂದು ದಿನ ದೇವರ ಪುತ್ರರು ಕರ್ತನ ಮುಂದೆ ನಿಂತುಕೊಳ್ಳುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದಾಗ ಸೈತಾನನು ಸಹ ಅವ ರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಬಂದನು.

ಇದರ ನಿಮಿತ್ತ ನೀನು ಏರಿದ ಮಂಚದಿಂದ ಇಳಿಯದೆ ನಿಶ್ಚಯವಾಗಿ ಸಾಯುವಿ ಎಂದು ಕರ್ತನು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾನೆ ಅಂದನು. ಆಗ ಎಲೀಯನು ಹೊರಟುಹೋದನು.

ಆದರೆ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಕೇಡುಗಳಿಂದಲೂ ಇಕ್ಕಟ್ಟುಗಳಿಂದಲೂ ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿ ರಕ್ಷಿಸಿದ ನಿಮ್ಮ ದೇವರನ್ನು ನೀವು ಈ ದಿವಸದಲ್ಲಿ ತಿರಸ್ಕರಿಸಿ ಆತನಿಗೆ--ನಮ್ಮ ಮೇಲೆ ಒಬ್ಬ ಅರಸನನ್ನು ನೇಮಿಸು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದಿರಿ. ಆದದ ರಿಂದ ಈಗ ಕರ್ತನ ಮುಂದೆ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಗೋತ್ರಗಳ ಪ್ರಕಾರವಾಗಿಯೂ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸಹಸ್ರಗಳ ಪ್ರಕಾರವಾ ಗಿಯೂ ಕಾಣಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಿರಿ ಅಂದನು.
ಯೆಹೋಶುವ 24:1
ಯೆಹೋಶುವನು ಶೆಕೆಮಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಸಮಸ್ತ ಗೋತ್ರದವರನ್ನು ಕೂಡಿಸಿ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಹಿರಿಯರನ್ನೂ ಅವರ ಮುಖ್ಯಸ್ಥ ರನ್ನೂ ನ್ಯಾಯಾಧಿಪತಿಗಳನ್ನೂ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳನ್ನೂ ಕರೆಸಿದನು. ಅವರು ದೇವರ ಮುಂದೆ ಬಂದು ನಿಂತರು.

ಇಗೋ, ನಾನು ಇಂದು ಭೂಲೋಕದವರೆಲ್ಲರ ಮಾರ್ಗವಾಗಿ ಹೋಗುತ್ತೇನೆ. ನಿಮ್ಮ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನು ನಿಮಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಹೇಳಿದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಒಳ್ಳೇ ಮಾತುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದು ಮಾತಾದರೂ ತಪ್ಪಲಿಲ್ಲವೆಂದು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಪೂರ್ಣಹೃದಯದಿಂದಲೂ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಪೂರ್ಣಪ್ರಾಣದಿಂದಲೂ ಅರಿತಿದ್ದೀರಿ; ಅವು ಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದು ಮಾತಾದರೂ ತಪ್ಪದೆ ಅವೆಲ್ಲಾ ನಿಮಗೆ ಸಂಭವಿಸಿದವು.

ನಿನ್ನ ಸಹೋದರನಾದ ಆರೋನನು ಹೋರ್ ಬೆಟ್ಟದಲ್ಲಿ ಸತ್ತು ತನ್ನ ಜನರ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಕೂಡಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ಹಾಗೆ ನೀನು ಏರಿಹೋಗುವ ಬೆಟ್ಟದಲ್ಲಿ ಸತ್ತು ನಿನ್ನ ಜನರ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಕೂಡಿಸಲ್ಪಡಬೇಕು.

ಅವನು ಅವರಿಗೆ--ನಾನು ಈಹೊತ್ತು ನೂರ ಇಪ್ಪತ್ತು ವರುಷದವನಾಗಿದ್ದೇನೆ; ನಾನು ಇನ್ನು ಹೊರಗೆ ಹೋಗುವದಕ್ಕೂ ಬರುವದಕ್ಕೂ ಶಕ್ತನಲ್ಲ; ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಕರ್ತನು ನನಗೆ--ನೀನು ಈ ಯೊರ್ದನನ್ನು ದಾಟುವದಿ ಲ್ಲವೆಂದು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದಾನೆ.

ಅವನನ್ನು ಯಾಜಕನಾದ ಎಲ್ಲಾಜಾರನ ಮುಂದೆಯೂ ಸಮಸ್ತ ಸಭೆಯ ಮುಂದೆಯೂ ನಿಲ್ಲಿಸಿ ಅವರಿಗೆದುರಾಗಿ ಅವನನ್ನು ನೇಮಿಸು.
