Deuteronomy 17:11
ಅವರು ನಿನಗೆ ಬೋಧಿಸುವ ನ್ಯಾಯ ಪ್ರಮಾಣದ ಪ್ರಕಾರವೂ ಅವರು ನಿನಗೆ ಹೇಳುವ ತೀರ್ಪಿನ ಪ್ರಕಾರವೂ ನೀನು ಮಾಡಬೇಕು; ಅವರು ನಿನಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸುವ ವಾಕ್ಯವನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಎಡಕ್ಕಾದರೂ ಬಲಕ್ಕಾದರೂ ತೊಲಗಬಾರದು.

ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಈ ದುಸ್ವಪ್ನದವರು ಶರೀರವನ್ನು ಮಲಿನ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವವರೂ ಪ್ರಭುತ್ವವನ್ನು ಅಸಡ್ಡೆ ಮಾಡು ವವರೂ ಗೌರವವುಳ್ಳವರನ್ನು ದೂಷಿಸುವವರೂ ಆಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ಆದರೆ ಮುಖ್ಯವಾಗಿ ಬಂಡು ತನದ ದುರಾಶೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಶರೀರಾನುಸಾರ ನಡೆದು ಪ್ರಭುತ್ವವನ್ನು ತಿರಸ್ಕಾರ ಮಾಡುವವರನ್ನು ಹೀಗೆ ಶಿಕ್ಷಿಸುವನು. ಇವರು ಯಾರಿಗೂ ಹೆದರದೆ ಸ್ವೇಚ್ಛಾಪರರಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ; ದುರಹಂಕಾರದಿಂದ ಗೌರವವುಳ್ಳವರನ್ನು ದೂಷಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ.

ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಅರಸನು--ಇದೆಲ್ಲಾದರಲ್ಲಿ ಯೋವಾಬನ ಕೈ ನಿನ್ನ ಸಂಗಡ ಉಂಟಲ್ಲವೋ ಅಂದನು. ಆ ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯು ಪ್ರತ್ಯುತ್ತರವಾಗಿ--ನಿನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾಣದ ಜೀವದಾಣೆ, ಅರಸ ನಾದ ನನ್ನ ಒಡೆಯನೇ, ನೀನು ಹೇಳುವವುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದನ್ನಾದರೂ ಯಾವನೂ ಎಡಗಡೆಗಾದರೂ ಬಲ ಗಡೆಗಾದರೂ ತಿರಿಗಿಸಕೂಡದು. ನಿನ್ನ ಸೇವಕನಾದ ಯೋವಾಬನು ನನಗೆ ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿ ಈ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಮಾತು ಗಳನ್ನು ನಿನ್ನ ಸೇವಕಳಿಗೆ ಹೇಳಿಕೊಟ್ಟನು.

ಈಗ ನೀವು ಮೋಶೆಯ ನ್ಯಾಯಪ್ರಮಾಣದ ಪುಸ್ತಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಬರೆದಿರುವ ಎಲ್ಲವನ್ನು ಕೈಕೊಂಡು ಬಹು ಧೈರ್ಯದಿಂದ ಮಾಡುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಅದನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಬಲಗಡೆಗಾದರೂ ಎಡಗಡೆಗಾದರೂ ತಿರುಗದೆ

ಹೀಗಿರುವದರಿಂದ ಬೇರೆ ದೇವರುಗಳನ್ನು ಹಿಂಬಾ ಲಿಸಿ ಸೇವಿಸದಂತೆ ನಾನು ಈಹೊತ್ತು ನಿನಗೆ ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿ ಸುವ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಎಡಕ್ಕಾದರೂ ಬಲ ಕ್ಕಾದರೂ ತೊಲಗಬಾರದು.
ಧರ್ಮೋಪದೇಶಕಾಂಡ 25:1
ಜನರಲ್ಲಿ ಏನಾದರೂ ವಿರೋಧವಿದ್ದರೆ ಅವರು ನ್ಯಾಯತೀರ್ವಿಕೆ ಹೊಂದುವ ಹಾಗೆ ನ್ಯಾಯಾಧಿಪತಿಗಳ ಬಳಿಗೆ ನ್ಯಾಯಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದರೆ ನೀತಿವಂತನನ್ನು ನೀತಿವಂತನೆಂದೂ ದುಷ್ಟನನ್ನು ಅಪರಾಧಿಯೆಂದೂ ನ್ಯಾಯತೀರಿಸಬೇಕು.
ಧರ್ಮೋಪದೇಶಕಾಂಡ 17:20
ಅವನ ಹೃದಯವು ಅವನ ಸಹೋದರರ ಮೇಲೆ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳದ ಹಾಗೆಯೂ ಅವನು ಆಜ್ಞೆಯನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಎಡಕ್ಕಾದರೂ ಬಲಕ್ಕಾದರೂ ತೊಲಗದ ಹಾಗೆಯೂ ಅವನಿಗೂ ಅವನ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೂ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವನ ರಾಜ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ದಿನಗಳು ಹೆಚ್ಚುವ ಹಾಗೆಯೂ ಅದನ್ನು ತನ್ನ ಜೀವಿತದ ದಿನಗಳಲ್ಲೆಲ್ಲಾ ಓದಬೇಕು.

ಹೀಗಿರುವದರಿಂದ ನಿಮ್ಮ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನು ನಿಮಗೆ ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿದಂತೆ ಕೈಕೊಂಡು ನಡೆಯಬೇಕು; ಎಡಕ್ಕಾದರೂ ಬಲಕ್ಕಾದರೂ ತಿರುಗಬೇಡಿರಿ.
