Deuteronomy 12:23
ರಕ್ತವನ್ನು ಮಾತ್ರ ತಿನ್ನದ ಹಾಗೆ ಜಾಗ್ರತೆ ಯಾಗಿರು; ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ರಕ್ತವು ಪ್ರಾಣವೇ, ಮತ್ತು ಪ್ರಾಣವನ್ನು ಮಾಂಸದ ಸಂಗಡ ತಿನ್ನಬೇಡ.

ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಪ್ರತಿ ದೇಹಿಗೂ ರಕ್ತವೇ ಪ್ರಾಣಾಧಾರ. ಅಂಥ ರಕ್ತವನ್ನು ನೀವು ಯಜ್ಞವೇದಿಗೆ ಎರಚಿ ನಿಮ ಗೋಸ್ಕರ ದೋಷಪರಿಹಾರ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕೆಂದು ನಿಮಗೆ ಅನುಗ್ರಹ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ರಕ್ತವು ಪ್ರಾಣಾಧಾರ ವಾಗಿರುವ ಕಾರಣ ಅದರಿಂದ ದೋಷಪರಿಹಾರ ವಾಗುತ್ತದಷ್ಟೆ.

ಆದರೆ ಮಾಂಸವನ್ನು ಜೀವವಿರುವ ರಕ್ತದೊಂದಿಗೆ ನೀವು ತಿನ್ನಬಾರದು.

ಯಾಜಕಕಾಂಡ 3:16
ಯಾಜಕನು ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಯಜ್ಞವೇದಿಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಸುಡಬೇಕು; ಅದು ಬೆಂಕಿಯಿಂದ ಮಾಡಿದ ಯಜ್ಞಾ ರ್ಪಣೆಯು ಸುವಾಸನೆಯ ಆಹಾರವಾಗಿರುವದು. ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಕೊಬ್ಬು ಕರ್ತನದೇ.

ರಕ್ತವನ್ನು ಮಾತ್ರ ತಿನ್ನಬೇಡಿರಿ, ಅದನ್ನು ನೀರಿನಂತೆ ನೆಲಕ್ಕೆ ಚೆಲ್ಲಬೇಕು.
