Amos 5:26
ಆದರೆ ನೀವು ನಿಮ ಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡ ಮೋಲೇಕನ ಗುಡಾರವನ್ನು, ನಿಮ್ಮ ಕಿಯೂನ್ ಎಂಬ ವಿಗ್ರಹವನ್ನು, ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮೋಲೇ ಕನ ದೇವತೆಯ ನಕ್ಷತ್ರವನ್ನು ಹೊತ್ತುಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗ ಬೇಕಾಗುವದು.

ಯೆಹೂದದ ಅರಸರು ಉಂಟು ಮಾಡಿದ ಆಹಾಜನ ಮೇಲು ಮಾಳಿಗೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಇದ್ದ ಬಲಿಪೀಠಗಳನ್ನೂ ಮನಸ್ಸೆಯು ಕರ್ತನ ಮನೆಯ ಎರಡು ಅಂಗಳಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾಡಿದ ಬಲಿಪೀಠ ಗಳನ್ನೂ ಅರಸನು ಕೆಡವಿಸಿ ಅಲ್ಲಿಂದ ಅದರ ಧೂಳನ್ನು ಕಿದ್ರೋನ್ ಹಳ್ಳದಲ್ಲಿ ಹಾಕಿಸಿದನು.

ನಿನ್ನ ದೇವರ ಹೆಸರನ್ನು ಅಶುದ್ಧಪಡಿಸುವಂತೆ ನಿನ್ನ ಸಂತಾನವನ್ನು ಮೋಲೆಕನಿಗೆ ಬೆಂಕಿಯ ಮೂಲಕ ಅರ್ಪಿಸಬಾರದು; ನಾನೇ ಕರ್ತನು.

ನೀನು ತಿರಿಗಿ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ಹೀಗೆ ಹೇಳಬೇಕು--ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ ಮಕ್ಕಳಲ್ಲಾಗಲಿ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿ ನಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರವಾಸಿಯಾದ ಪರಕೀಯರಲ್ಲಾಗಲಿ ಯಾವನಾ ದರೂ ತನ್ನ ಸಂತತಿಯನ್ನು ಮೋಲೆಕನಿಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟರೆ ನಿಶ್ಚಯವಾಗಿ ಅವನಿಗೆ ಮರಣವನ್ನು ವಿಧಿಸಬೇಕು; ದೇಶದ ಜನರು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಕಲ್ಲೆಸೆಯಬೇಕು.
