ಆದರೆ ಬಾರ್ನಬನು ಅವನನ್ನು ಅಪೊಸ್ತಲರ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಕರೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗಿ ಅವನು ಹೇಗೆ ದಾರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕರ್ತನನ್ನು ಕಂಡದ್ದನ್ನೂ ಆತನು ಅವನ ಸಂಗಡ ಮಾತನಾಡಿ ದ್ದನ್ನೂ ದಮಸ್ಕದೊಳಗೆ ಯೇಸುವಿನ ಹೆಸರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಧೈರ್ಯದಿಂದ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ್ದನ್ನೂ ಅವರಿಗೆ ವಿವರವಾಗಿ ತಿಳಿಯಪಡಿಸಿದನು.

ಆದದರಿಂದ ಅವರ ಮತ್ತು ಪೌಲ ಬಾರ್ನಬರ ಮಧ್ಯೆ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಭಿನ್ನಾಭಿ ಪ್ರಾಯವೂ ವಾಗ್ವಾದವೂ ಉಂಟಾದಾಗ ಪೌಲ ಬಾರ್ನಬರೂ ಅವರಲ್ಲಿ ಬೇರೆ ಕೆಲವರೂ ಈ ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆಗಾಗಿ ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಅಪೊಸ್ತಲರ ಮತ್ತು ಹಿರಿಯರ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಹೋಗಬೇಕೆಂದು ಅವರು ನಿರ್ಧರಿಸಿದರು.

ಇವರು ಕರ್ತನನ್ನು ಸೇವಿಸುತ್ತಾ ಉಪವಾಸ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾ ಇದ್ದಾಗ ಪವಿ ತ್ರಾತ್ಮನು--ನಾನು ಬಾರ್ನಬ ಸೌಲರನ್ನು ಕರೆದ ಕೆಲಸಕ್ಕೆ ನನಗಾಗಿ ಅವರನ್ನು ಪ್ರತ್ಯೇಕಿಸಿರಿ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.

ಅವನು ಪ್ರಯಾಣ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾ ದಮಸ್ಕದ ಹತ್ತಿರಕ್ಕೆ ಬರಲು ಫಕ್ಕನೆ ಪರಲೋಕದೊಳ ಗಿಂದ ಒಂದು ಬೆಳಕು ಅವನ ಸುತ್ತಲೂ ಹೊಳೆಯಿತು.
