Acts 25:15
ನಾನು ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನಲ್ಲಿದ್ದಾಗ ಪ್ರಧಾನಯಾಜಕರೂ ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯರ ಹಿರಿಯರೂ ಅವನ ವಿಷಯವಾಗಿ ನನಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸಿ ಅವನಿಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ತೀರ್ಪುಮಾಡ ಬೇಕೆಂದು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಬೇಡಿಕೊಂಡರು.

ಆದರೆ ಆತನು ಶಿಲುಬೆಗೆ ಹಾಕಲ್ಪಡಬೇಕೆಂದು ಅವರು ಮಹಾಧ್ವನಿಯಿಂದ ಒತ್ತಾಯ ಮಾಡಿದರು. ಹೀಗೆ ಅವರ ಕೂಗಾಟವೂ ಪ್ರಧಾನಯಾಜಕರ ಕೂಗಾಟವೂ ಗೆದ್ದಿತು.

ಐದು ದಿವಸಗಳಾದ ಮೇಲೆ ಮಹಾ ಯಾಜಕನಾದ ಅನನೀಯನು ಹಿರಿಯರೊಂದಿಗೂ ಒಬ್ಬಾನೊಬ್ಬ ವಾಕ್ಚಾತುರ್ಯನಾದ ತೆರ್ತುಲ್ಲ ನೆಂಬವನೊಂದಿಗೂ ಬಂದು ಪೌಲನಿಗೆ ವಿರೋಧ ವಾದದ್ದನ್ನು ಅಧಿಪತಿಗೆ ತಿಳಿಯಪಡಿಸಿದರು.

ಫೆಸ್ತನು ಆ ಪ್ರಾಂತ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದು ಮೂರು ದಿವಸಗಳಾದ ಮೇಲೆ ಕೈಸರೈಯದಿಂದ ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿಗೆ ಹೋದನು.
