Zechariah 8:10
ಈ ದಿವಸಗಳಿಗಿಂತ ಮುಂಚೆ ಮನುಷ್ಯನಿಗೆ ಕೂಲಿ ಇರಲಿಲ್ಲ, ಪಶುಗಳಿಗೆ ಕೂಲಿ ಇರಲಿಲ್ಲ; ಇಲ್ಲವೆ ಹೋಗುವವ ನಿಗೂ ಬರುವವನಿಗೂ ಇಕ್ಕಟ್ಟಿನ ದೆಸೆಯಿಂದ ಸಮಾ ಧಾನವಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ. ನಾನು ಜನರೆಲ್ಲರಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬನನ್ನು ತನ್ನ ನೆರೆಯವನಿಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಇಟ್ಟಿದ್ದೆನು.

ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಶತ್ರುಗಳ ಮುಂದೆ ಸೆರೆಗೆ ಹೋದರೂ ಅಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ನಾನು ಕತ್ತಿಗೆ ಅಪ್ಪಣೆ ಕೊಡುವೆನು; ಅದು ಅವರನ್ನು ಕೊಲ್ಲುವದು. ಮೇಲಿಗಾಗಿ ಅಲ್ಲ, ಕೇಡಿಗಾಗಿ ಅವರ ಮೇಲೆ ನನ್ನ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಯಿಡುವೆನು.

ಪಟ್ಟಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೊಂಬನ್ನು ಊದಿದರೆ ಜನರು ಹೆದರುವದಿಲ್ಲವೇ? ಪಟ್ಟಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೇಡು ಇರು ವದಾದರೆ ಅದು ಕರ್ತನಿಂದ ಅಲ್ಲವೇ?

ಅನಾತನ ಮಗನಾದ ಶಮ್ಗರನ ದಿವಸಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಯಾಯೇಲಳ ದಿವಸಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ದಾರಿಗಳು ನಿಂತು ಹೋದವು; ಮಾರ್ಗಸ್ಥರು ಡೊಂಕು ದಾರಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು.
