Jeremiah 25:33
ಆ ದಿವಸದಲ್ಲಿ ಭೂಮಿಯ ಈ ಮೇರೆಯಿಂದ ಭೂಮಿಯ ಆ ಮೇರೆಯ ವರೆಗೆ ಕರ್ತ ನಿಂದ ಕೊಂದುಹಾಕಲ್ಪಟ್ಟವರು ಇರುವರು; ಅವರಿ ಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಗೋಳಾಡುವದಿಲ್ಲ; ಅವರನ್ನು ಕೂಡಿಸುವ ದಿಲ್ಲ; ಅವರನ್ನು ಹೂಣಿಡುವದಿಲ್ಲ; ಅವರು ಭೂಮಿಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಗೊಬ್ಬರವಾಗುವರು.

ಆದಕಾರಣ ಕರ್ತನ ಕೋಪವು ಜನರಿಗೆ ವಿರೋ ಧವಾಗಿ ಉರಿಗೊಂಡು ಅವರ ಮೇಲೆ ತನ್ನ ಕೈಚಾಚಿ ಅವರನ್ನು ಹೊಡೆದಿದ್ದಾನೆ; ಗುಡ್ಡಗಳು ಕಂಪಿಸಿದವು. ಅವರ ಹೆಣಗಳು ಹರಿದು ಬೀದಿಗಳ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಬಿದ್ದಿ ರುವವು. ಇಷ್ಟೆಲ್ಲಾ ಆದರೂ ಆತನ ಕೋಪವು ಹಿಂತಿರುಗದೆ ಇನ್ನೂ ಕೈಚಾಚಿಯೇ ಇದೆ.

ಆಗ ಪ್ರಜೆ ಕುಲ ಭಾಷೆ ಜನಾಂಗಗಳವರು ಸತ್ತುಹೋದ ಅವರ ಶವಗಳನ್ನು ಮೂರುವರೆ ದಿನಗಳು ನೋಡುವರು, ಸತ್ತುಹೋದ ಅವರ ಶವಗಳನ್ನು ಸಮಾಧಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಇಡ ಗೊಡಿಸುವದಿಲ್ಲ.

ಆದದರಿಂದ ನೀನು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಈ ಮಾತನ್ನು ಹೇಳಬೇಕು--ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನು ಹೀಗೆ ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾನೆ ಬುದ್ದಲಿಗಳೆಲ್ಲಾ ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಾರಸದಿಂದ ತುಂಬಿರುವವು; ಆಗ ಅವರು ನಿನಗೆ--ಬುದ್ದಲಿಗಳೆಲ್ಲಾ ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಾರಸದಿಂದ ತುಂಬಿರುವವೆಂದು ನಮಗೆ ಚೆನ್ನಾಗಿ ತಿಳಿಯಿತಲ್ಲವೋ ಎಂದು ನಿನಗೆ ಹೇಳುವರು.
